Great food and friendly service. Loved the warm honey with the rolls. The spaghetti with marinara sauce was great. The interior was so cool - retro feeling like I stepped back in time. I can’t wait to go there again. So glad I went.

We arrived shortly after 5pm. Lasagna and pasta were served lukewarm, if not cooler. Chicken was apparently cooked the previous day. Roll was stale. I had wanted to visit Venesian Inn for years. This will probably be my one and only visit.
Half empty during a festival weekend and still the worst service ever. Our server stood talking to her friends at a table for 25 minutes. Our food was cold and we had to beg for our orders. IWe will not be back.
Have been coming here for years. Just as good as I remember. Salad was perfect and chicken Parmesan was wonderful. The rolls are the BEST ever.
Thank you for coming in , glad to see you still enjoyed it after all these years! Looking forward to serving you again.
This used to be a fun trip from Fort Smith to eat. The salad is just shredded lettuce. The rolls were not fresh. My eggplant parmigiana was just ok. I brought my leftovers home, but decided not worth eating. I will say the waitstaff was...very good. Very busy, but good. Don’t know if I want to take that 80 mile trip up there again. Disappointed.More
I have lived in Northwest Arkansas for 40+ yrs. Decades ago this a was great working man's steak house with many Italian options. Except for the prices the menu remains largely the same, but the quality has diminished significantly. As always the portions are large,...but my spaghetti with meat balls was not as good as in the past. The calling card of this restaurant use to be their yeast rolls. This time a couple of the rolls tasted recycled, and the others were just plain mediocre. I took my wife to this restaurant on our first date. I doubt if I will be returning. The ambience remains the same, but quality has diminished. The crowds have also lessened.More
It had been at least 5 years since we had been here - always loved it before. We were going to an Arkansas Naturals game and thought this was the perfect time to stop and eat here. The salad was pretty much the same as...it had been, altho it was more pieces instead of a more shredded lettuce. Still loved the dressing, tho. I had the eggplant parmigiana which was alright, but the spaghetti seemed a little dried out. Two of the people with us had t-bones - they were thin and one was cooked fairly as ordered and the other was a little too done, but they said the flavor was good. Our other person had fried chicken and spaghetti and said it was good. NOW for the most disappointing part of our visit. The rolls tasted like they had been made about 3 days ago. They were DRY, very dry. Their rolls had always been fresh and wonderful. I don't know what has happened but the rolls were terrible. So disappointed. I doubt that we'll go back again as it is not what it was. This restaurant has always had a huge crowd every night and you always had to wait for a table. This time we got there right after they opened and by the time we left, probably an hour and 15 minutes later, there were only about 5 tables occupied. I think their business has really dropped because of the food quality.More
I read the reviews on this place and knew we needed to give it a shot. If you're expecting Olive Garden, I suggest going there instead of a real Italian restaurant. Traditional simple salad of lettuce and vinegar, but so good. You can taste the...care put into it. Rolls are fresh and tasty. Daughter ordered the Cheese Tortalini and my wife and I, the Special two piece chicken, spaghetti and cheese ravioli. Shut the front door!!! 🍝🍝🍝 Mama Mia!! Road trips to NWA will mean stopping at the Venesian every time. We use to be a Mama Z's fan, but this took that place. Service was fast and friendly.More
Don’t let the informal interior fool you, this is top notch food. The Alfredo was out of this world and not super heavy like many can be. And $3 house wine!
The best authentic Italian food! Love their salad and rolls! My favorite thing to order is the #9, steak with spaghetti! Chicken is wonderful too!
Has sign out front that they are open for lunch, but closed 30 minutes before their 2:00 closing. Called and lady was VERY RUDE and practically hung up on me. Was told to take my comments elsewhere which is what I will do with my...money and which I encourage you all to do. Used to be a great family restaurant, but obviously customer service, or just kindness is no longer a requirement. Too many other great choices out there so don't waste your time or money at this rude place.More
I've heard so much about this place over the years so I finally tried it. Sadly I won't be returning. I got several meals for takeout so I can't speak to the service but the food wasn't very good. Especially considering the price. 2 adult...meals and 2 kids meals was $45. The fried chicken was just ok - not as good as what you get at KFC for much cheaper. The rolls weren't anything special, just regular wheat rolls like you get at Harps. Nobody in my family liked the spaghetti or ravioli. The sauce just isn't good. The biggest disappointment was what they called the "salad". It was literally just lettuce. Yup, a pile of shredded lettuce. No tomatoes, no carrots, no cheese, nothing. I thought maybe it was just a takeout mistake but when I asked a friend who had eaten there, she said it was the same. How do you call that a "salad"? Lol. Overall I'm confused how this place has such a great reputation. Overpriced mediocre food, nothing special. As a side note, when I paid I was asked to add a tip to my meal price. I've gotten takeout at a lot of restaurants and I've never been asked or told to add a tip. I thought tips were for wait staff who serve you when you eat AT the restaurant. Maybe I'm wrong but since it has never happened to me before it struck me as odd. I did add a tip and the lady turned around and gave it to a waitress nearby who was going back and forth serving those seated. I doubt she had anything to do with my meal prep - it was a different person who brought my meal out. Anyway, that was no biggie, just strange. LolMore
I am a springdale Arkansas native, and i don't remember there being a time when there was no venesian inn out in Tontitown. We visited the restaurant again this weekend, and had the usual great taste experience that we have come to expect. I recommend...the steak and choose the spaghetti as your side. It os homemade pasta and sauce- fantastic. You wont find food like this at the chains. I had a glass of locally-vinted muscadine wine that i loved so much i bought a couple of bottles home to enjoy!!!!More
Doesn't get better than this. Homemade pasta that melts in your mouth, had chicken parmasean that was the best ever. Homemade rolls to die for.
Excellent service. Food is very fresh and different than the chains. It is worth the stop. Huge rolls with honey. Everything I have had on the menu is good.
