Was driving trough Texarkana with family looking for a place to have lunch. This is worth getting off the highway for. Although Texarkana looked like a ghost town. it was nice to find good food, try the spinny dip and the brunch specials! Would love to visit this place on a Friday night I bet gets rowdy!

Hopkins Icehouse has two locations, one in downtown Texarkana and the other among the sprawling chains north of I-30. This review is based solely on my experience at the original Hopkins Icehouse (which opened in 2007) located in downtown Texarkana. If you remember downtown Texarkana from years ago, you will recognize the location of the former Hopkins Feed and Seed... More

The after church Brunch on Sunday is a must. The Egg Benedicts, the French toast, the Mimosa's - all yummy.

I have been here for breakfast and lunch and dinner over several years and know it's a favorite of my son & wife as it seems to be the place to party & socialize. The food is okay but I tend to choose low calorie options which are available. The sandwiches are great and overall, the food is good but... More

I liked the open back patio area of the building. As for the food. The food is typical bar food although the fried steak I had was good and tender. Wife's salad was also typical. Overall, mnotba bad place to hang out and eat and enjoy the evening with a beer.

I live a few blocks away and would love to it there, but it is too smokey to eat. The drinks are reasonably priced and worth it. The place has a $5 or more cover as a standard despite only being a bar. This confuses me. Without the cover, I would regularly have drinks there in the spring and fall... More

I always enjoy Hopkins lunch menu is great! They are very attentive and do a great job getting people in and out and on their way. It's a very unique place with its decorations that are remaining from the old fees and seed store that used to occupy the location. A great place for a business lunch, or a casual... More

Trip Adviser comes through again! We decided to stop in Texarkana for lunch on a long road trip between Fort Worth and Memphis. Trip Adviser reviews were confirmed by our visit. We had a spinach and strawberry salad and shared goat cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon and drizzled with avocado cream sauce. Upscale bar food done right! We'll probably... More
