Probably the best breakfast in town. I normally eat breakfast there at least once a week and have never had a reason to complain about anything. The service is outstanding!

If you haven't tried the old South in the past year, you should consider going. The management has change and he and his team have made the place come alive. The food quality is above average and the patrons get plenty to eat. They have worked hard in customer focus. You should give the historic restaurant a try and enjoy!

I love the Old South. You can get breakfast all day, or they have a nicely varied menu for lunch and dinner. Try the chicken fried chicken or the hamburger. The ribs on Thursday night or the Prime Rib on Friday night are favorites of my friends. We usually go to Old South at least once a week for dinner.

After checking the reviews here, decided to try it out for lunch. Was not disappointed! Sat at the front and got served very quickly. Waitress recommended the beef tips and they were wonderful! Lunch special comes with desert, which was delicious! Will return!

We stopped here for lunch after fishing at the Lake Dardanelle State Park nearby. That day they had beef tips and noodles as the special so two of us had that and it was good. Came with mashed potatoes and a side salad that was very fresh. Other two had chicken fried steak and chicken strips and enjoyed their meals... More

I had a very enjoyable dinner. The restaurant is under new ownership from past years and is going very well. Good food and lots of old history in this place. Elvis would always eat there when in town.

My wife and I ate here when we were dating 50 years ago. New owners really turn it around. Best place in Russellville for breakfast.

This place is an original old diner, it feels like you step back in time when you walk through the door, the food is decent but is defenitly nothing special or as good as the reviews make it out to be, it will be a place that I won't visit twice.

Great Food and family atmosphere. We found this place on our way to Alabama last year. Looking forward to eating there again when we head south in August.
