My partners parents recommended this tea room as they knew it would be right up my street! Then my partner actually surprised me with a visit here! We went on a Saturday early afternoon, I had the most beautiful cup of English breakfast tea in beautiful china cups and a little tea pot. I also ordered a plain homemade scone... More

I love Lucy's anyway, but today it was amazing. I treated myself to scone with blackberry and apple preserve, it was fantastic. Fast, friendly service, and I didn't feel at all uncomfortable on my own. Can't wait for May 2017, when it re-opens.

My husband and I held our Ruby Wedding celebration in Lucy' s tea garden. The vintage afternoon tea menu was delicious with fresh homemade sandwiches, scones and mini desserts. Lucy was very helpful during the planning stage and the tea party was held beneath the garden gazebo, The food was beautifully presented and the service was efficient. Lucy also made... More

A beautiful setting for the tearooms, an idyllic garden and courtyard area, a true country tea room feel to it. The scones were tasty though I've never seen such flat ones in my life, and the waitress seemed perplexed when we asked for butter. I would hate to visit if they were busy as I can't imagine how they would... More

We happened on this gem by chance. There's a secluded garden with gazebos to provide shade - or shelter from the rain - as well as an indoor area. Lovely for a lunch or afternoon tea. Service delightful and friendly. Just gorgeous!

Found by chance following signs on the road half way through a long journey. Very welcoming even the dog as lovely weather to enjoy the lovely gardens. Great menu and service. Delicious sandwiches and cakes. Lovely home made preserves - apple and ginger was like nothing I've tasted before. Extensive loose leaf tea menu - even bought a diffuser tea... More

We visited here after seeing it advertised in the Nottinghamshire Visitor Guide. It did not disappoint, the garden was lovely, the home made cakes and drinks were delicious and we like the fact that it is dog friendly. The man that served us was very friendly, we will definitely be returning next time we are in Southwell.

Enjoyed homemade lemonade, a pot of Earl Grey and a wonderful honey cake, served with strawberries, blueberries and cream in the wonderful secret garden. It looked too good to eat, but I managed to! A Perfect place to spend an hour or two. Very friendly and informative owners s, and the shop sells everything 'bees'. Blissful afternoon.

Description
This is in a very pretty village setting, quite classy with proper tea pots and china cups, scrumptious cakes, sandwiches,
scones and soup - all 100% homemade and good value.
Particularly recommended is the magnificant gooey chocolate cake !
Seating is mainly out in the Vicarage garden, but with several
covered or enclosed areas. Very pleasant atmosphere and with Sunday papers to read, you could sit there all day.
Lucy's is located on the road from Rolleston towards Fiskerton, near the historic town of Newark in Nottinghamshire.
Open Saturdays, Sundays & Bank holidays in the summer only.
