We heard good things about this place and we weren’t disappointed.
As a family of 4, (children aged 8 & 5), we visited after a tiring day day skiing and the food was lovely, prices were good and background atmosphere was great.
The menu is wide and varied like a lot of Bansko restaurants but this didn’t impact the quality or quantity of our food.
Service was good and only small criticism is they could of taken out plates away when we finished as opposed to me asking for the bill some 30 minutes after we had finished but that’s a small point.
We would happily return in 2021.

Beautiful interior and good service. Ordered garlic and cheese pita bread and stuffed peppers to start, both were great. Vegetable and meat mixed plate came on a sizzling platter, however meat was quite dry. Price was reasonable for a tourist area, however on the more expensive side of restaurants in Bansko.

I have just returned from a family ski trip to Bansko and we had our best meal of the week in The Log House. After 3 evenings eating at the hotel, it was nice to have a meal that was hot and served by staff who wanted to deliver excellent food and service. All 3 of us picked Beef ribs and we were not disappointed. The meat fell of the ribs and the flavour was lovely.

Didn’t book but called in... staff initially said o , fully booked then miraculously “found” a table for us. Nice place , all wood, warm and comfortable. Food arrived but two out of four meals were cold and had to be returned to the kitchen. Ok when brought back. Would I go again? Hmmm not sure, lots of other places to try...

The Log House is a beautiful little restaurant down one of the side streets in the centre of Bansko. If you're seated upstairs you have a beautiful view of people ending their ski trip for the day as it faces the bottom of the ski resort.
We visited just after our day at the slopes was finished with family. The restaurant was beautiful and all the inside decor is made from wood - it truly is a "Log House". The waitress was friendly and attentive and helped us with our order.
We ordered a carafe of wine and (purely preference) thought it tasted a bit 'cheap' (like the sort of stuff that will leave you dying with a hangover the next day) and some sharing food dishes. We thought the food/drinks really let this restaurant down as it had a lot of potential but it just didn't taste nice which was a shame.
Overall a great little restaurant but needs to improve its menu to compete with some of the other better restaurants in Bansko.

We had a late lunch here in New Year’s Day. Really nice, cosy restaurant with a very welcoming feel. Food was really delicious and very reasonably priced. We had the chicken Wiener schnitzel, pork knuckle and pork ribs, all of which was delicious, well cooked and enjoyed by all (including 2 picky pre-teens). Our waitress was really nice and attentive and the atmosphere was very good. We will definitely eat here again in our holiday.

A very poor food quality. The food had to much oil, the vegetables was frozen and preheated. The worst food I had in Bulgaria.
One good point will be that they were kind enough not to charge for the food.
If you looking for something similar just go to the house restaurant a much much better place.

As the title says we were disappointed with the food.we have been to this restaurant several times over the last couple of years including out of season. 2 of us ordered the beef ribs and these were not good at all.not sure how these were cooked however they were undercooked and only just warm and not very good and very hard to eat all very disappointed also one other member ordered the Xl pork chop this looked nothing like the picture at least half the size. Unfortunately due to the inconsistency in the food I will not be eating here again.

The staff is arrogant and their attitude is based on their current mood. Other problems:
1. They lie about not having soups when in fact they do have them but they are lazy to prepare them and also for other people the soup is available while for others it isn't.
2. Some dishes are brought cold (pizza in our case). If I want frozen pizza I can buy it from the supermarket. If I come to the restaurant, I want to eat food prepared on the spot.
3. All the dishes are brought at the same time. Until you finish the soup, the second dish is already cold ( when it isn't cold from the start).
4. The most important thing, some of the waiter's attitude needs to be heavily improved since whenever you want to order, you feel like you bother some of them.

During both my many winter and summer visits here, either solo or with family & friends, The Log House is consistent with friendly service and tasty home cooked food. Never had an issue with any of the dishes from the menu, which is typical Bulgarian with generous portions and a good choice for vegetarians. Let's not forget the very drinkable house wine, both white and red.
Reading the previous review, cannot believe they are referring to the same establishment as the staff are always friendly and the food is served with a smile.

Popped in here this evening as it is close to our hotel, so we said we'd try it out. Seated and served very promptly. I really enjoyed my Pulled-Pork burger and my husband and daughter shared a pepperoni pizza and "cornflake chicken"
Really good value for our meals and soft drinks as it came to less than €30 (59 lev).
The only negative experience was that their card machine wasn't working and we weren't told about it before we ordered and we didn't have cash on us. I was a bit embarrassed, having to wait at the till while my husband ran to the ATM. But a lesson learned for myself to ask if each restaurant takes card before ordering next time.

Had dinner here last night, really great food. It was warm and cozy inside, and pretty quiet with a few families seated upstairs. We had the shopska salad, garlic & cheese pita bread, adana kebab and pork tenderloin. Everything was really tasty and very fresh.
Really large menu that has something for everyone
Service was fast as well, overall really pleasant dining experience

The food was truely amazing. A bit expesinsive (we ate 6 people for about 130$), but food was geniuenly insanely good. And yet, I give this restaurant 4/5 because we waited about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Overall great experience!

Friendly staff, delicious food. Close to the bansko ski lift. The staff doesn't speak very well english, but this is not a problem since in Bulgaria is not a mandatory thing (even in tourist industry 😊)

Dined three times within 24 hours as we enjoyed delicious cuisine with the best refreshing tarator (cold Bulgarian soep made of yoghurt, cucumber, nuts and herbs), fish meals and rice, all served at the great view of Pirin mountain with a friendly and fast service. The unique wooden building and lovely restaurant's design with diverse compartments made our experience complete. Highly recommended for lunch and dinner!
