Four of us drove 30 minutes outside of Ottawa to visit this pub. What an absolute waste of our time! The restaurant had very few people in at at dinner hour which should have been the first sign, Absolutely no one welcomed or greeted us. We had to seat ourselves and then wait for a server to show up. She... More

Went to a couple of friends to have some drinks and some snacks. It was a nice surprise, the atmosphere is great an small town like family restaurant with an air of a English club. Great customers very friendly, great staff and amazing food. It is a gem in the restaurant jungle in the capital region,

I stop in any time I am in the area. Excellent beer, fantastic food, friendly folks and great atmosphere. I try the daily special every time and no matter what it is, it is incredible. I have been there three times and still haven't made it through their brewed beer list yet. Sports memorabilia surrounds you, but no TVs with... More

This PUB is crazy DARK inside so bring a flashlight if you want to read the menu..lol. The PATIO is well lite. Noisy bustling place! .Don't worry, it's all good pub food. They micro-brew several fine choices AND local areas have started offering the Ashton Brews too!!

Though off the beaten path, this pub is worth the visit. There is a great selection of really good beers. Try the vanilla stout, Amber & India pale. Food was delicious, good quantity & quality. The fish & chips and rarebit flat bread were winners. Staff were very courteous and friendly. We were told this is the place to end... More

Stopped in on our way home on Sunday afternoon. I had the Irene's red beer and the farmer's salad. The beer was COLD and went down smooth the sale was fresh and crisp The total for the 2 of us was less than $60.00 that was good. The supper crowd hadn't arrived when we arrived, but the place was full... More

This place just seems to get better and better. It keeps expanding and perfecting. The seafood chowder is a meal in itself. It comes with a very small bread loaf as well. They brew their own beer on the premises, which I might add, is excellent. I've tried a number of the brews and can attest to the fine quality.... More
