This review is a summary of those who dined with me at this restaurant. I visited this restaurant with family & friends during the 1st week of May 2019 for dinner. The staff were attentive & took the order as requested. At the time the...food was served I was informed that they had run short of prawns & they could only give me 1 portion. The food was catered to the requested requirements.
I noticed a lack of cleanliness on the tables & floor in the far end of the hall with a pungent smell emitted from the same area. I see a lack of supervision.
I could not say it is value for money and heard other guest too stating that it was over priced. The reason I chose this place was because it was closer to my home & there were hardly any other eateries with this selection of food that was open at 2130 hrs.
I see the possibility for more improvement under professional supervision.
This is constructive criticism to improve a good restaurant.
Colombo night life does not end at 2200 hrs. It is advisable to keep it open until 2400 hrs and find ways to entice the guest to patronize the place regularly.
I would like to see an improvement when I visit this place again.More
The best place in Nugegoda to have lunch or dinner. Lunch is really good. Good selection. Also very clean.Polite staff. Very reasonable prices. Decent. Food is very tasty. I always buy my lunch and dinner from here.
I'm glad to add this restaurant to Tripadvisor, so I can review, but most importantly so that I can share this great place for Sri Lankan food!
The location, parking, ambience etc all get a thumbs up from me!
They are good for take out,...and definitely value for money!
What I like most is their dining in experience! Because most places in Colombo do not give "Karawala" (fried dry fish) with their rice, and these people do, in addition to pol sambol (made from grated coconut, chili etc), and fried chillies. Now, in my opinion, don't call your food a "Sri Lankan" restaurant if you don't offer these with your rice and curry!, and these guys do this really well, and it's definitely the reason I choose them for lunch!
Their food is tasty, they have a good variety of curries (both meat and vegetable options), and usually good for lunch!
Their staff are really helpful and offer the one of best service I have experienced in Colombo!
If you are like me, and crave a good Sri Lankan lunch on most days, do give them a try! Definitely worth it!More
