Guacamole made at table !!!

The wife and I have eaten here before when we've been in MH for shopping , but we had never ordered the fresh guacamole before. They make it right at your table and it is fantastic. Any food we have had there is also very good.

Typical Tex-Mex. Good service. Modern environment. Enchiladas were good. Quesadilla was good. Food is average / pretty good. (Nothing special.)

We are El Chico lovers from way back. The ones near us closed, so we were excited to find this one. The tortilla soup is as good as I remember and our server, Chris, went above and beyond.

Whenever we are in mountain home, visiting el chico is a treat. Today was a little disappointing. We were seated in the bar area. Our waitress was also the bartender. She also was sitting with a coaster re during our visit. Salsa has changed too.

To me the worst Mexican restaurant in town! The salsa and chips are good but the Mexican food is not even close to authentic. It's like a fancy taco bell with good servers. No thanks.

We stopped by for a late lunch and I had the best enchiladas I have ever had. Blanco enchiladas with black beans and rice. Our waiter "Piper" did a great job, I never once had to ask for a refill and he was very nice to deal with.
