My Husband and I used to eat at El Chicos in our home town and it closed. :( We make a point to visit another location at least once a year. This El Chicos is awesome with great food and service. The chicken chimichangas are yummy. You should check them out. :)

Our family ate here due to arriving in town late. I had read earlier on Trip Advisor that they were open late. Quick seating, small crowd that night. Waiters seemed to hurry our family to order, maybe due to the late hour, @ 1 hour before closing. Food was good. Waiter did a good job keeping our drink glasses full.

Tuesday night is fajitas 1/2 price. Two combination plates for $15. They brought out two servings, then said made too much food, and took one plate back. Ten minutes later brought out extra rice saying they made a mistake. Ten minutes later after owner arrived, they brought out extra meat again saying they made a mistake. We didn't receive our... We eat here every chance we get when in town. Have never had a bad meal. Have brought several friends with us at different visits and all were happy with it. Must try the Mexican apple pie!! We also always get the top self guacamole (made table side) and it is very good. Have tried several entrees and been pleased... More

I got the old fashion tacos. They are hand deep fried shells and are so crispy. I wish your chips were also hot and homemade.

My wife and I went for lunch. We both ordered the one cheese enchilada luncheon plate with one taco, rice and refried beans. Our lunch total was $22 +. I should mention the ice teas were $2.25 each! The food was very good. The service was very good......but the prices were too hefty for lunches! Maybe that was the reason... More

It was a busy night when we showed up with a party of 11. We were seated within 10 minutes. The food was great and the staff was attentive.

There were maybe two or three tables in the entire restaurant and it took over 10 minutes to get my drink. We ordered nachos for an app. They took longer than the drink and were not good especially for the price. A sprinkling of old dry chicken and cheese over a weird flat chip is not what I consider a... We have ample parking (boats, buses, RV's welcome)and have a great kids menu selection (Mac and Cheese, chicken strips, burgers, etc.) and a many American items to please everyone in the group. We have a full bar with the best margaritas in town. We hope you'll join us!El Chico Cafe provides an upscale dining experience, serving top-quality Mexican food favorites with fresh, new specialties of today.
