The restaurant is beautiful, the service is marvelous, and the menu is amazing! I had lunch at the restaurant today; a birthday surprise from my sister! The ambience, meal and service were meticulous. A wonderful restaurant to experience in every way!

The owner does not believe in accommodating her guests and she also acts as if she doesn't need your business. I called there recently to order soup to go and was told they were too busy to take the order, and I was told to...call back in an hour or two. I called back and they did not answer at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Funny thing was, My sister-in-law was in there and said it was not that busy at 3:30. The wait staff used to be so friendly. They couldn't do enough to keep you happy. I think they are terrified of the owner and don't believe they should try to make the customers happy with their dining experience. Also, the food has become very inconsistent. You can't dare tell them, because they will never send it back, even if it is just toot cold. For what they charge, they should try to please their customers. I miss the old La Crepe. What a shame.More

Took daughter here for her b-day. Service was very good and the food was delicious. Had been here a few times before and were always pleased and enjoyed everything. For me, the crepes were just ok but everything else was great. Recommend for anyone.

Upon entering La Crepe Bistro, one feels transported to a European cafe/ restaurant. The decor is elegant, service impeccable, and food delectable .

The atmosphere, food, and waitstaff combine to make an outstanding experience. I usually skip appetizers to save room for dessert as the main dishes are quite generous. The food was piping hot and super fresh. Nice place for a fancy dinner or a casual lunch.

I chose the word "exquisite" carefully. The attention to detail in this multi- course meal was equivalent to any great restaurant in Chicago nearby. Every course had excellence through and through. This was a 2 hour meal to exult in. The ambiance, first, is extraordinary...at Christmas. Decor is handled with as much care as food. You just don't want to leave. Think warm cozy Paris bistro. Ok, you're there now! The soup course included lobster bisque and a simply outstanding warm creamy pumpkin soup, as well as the expected French onion. Oohs and aahs all around. The salads were popping fresh, mine with crisp greens, fresh veggies and unusual pear slices with champagne vinaigrette. I asked for pork bacon in place of duck breast which took it over the top. Entrées included beef Bourgogne, halibut w mango salsa and sauce and a crepe dish. My pork tenderloin with Dijon creme fraiche was perfect, tender and juicy w French green beans and literally frites perfected. Desserts were on an even higher plane, with fresh hot beignets, crepe dishes and cappacinos which even had gold flecks on top. Even the fruit garni on the plates were bursting fresh and flavorful as well as beautiful. On a cold December Chicagoland day, pretty amazing. This was a high end meal with a high end ticket, to be sure, but served with quiet elegance by Christina in an atmosphere that was casually elegant. And to think all of this in a suburban strip mall building. Go! Relax! Enjoy! This is about as good as it gets friends! Highly recommended! Highest rating. Attention to detail through and through.More

We’re longtime fans of this restaurant and would likely have dined here for Mother’s Day, but there’s this Coronavirus thing going on. So we tried curbside pickup and honestly the crepes and desserts were every bit as good as inside dining. French beet salad was...terrific as ever. Placing phone orders was easy and entrees were hot and ready on time. Only thing missing was the Eiffel Tower dresses. Vive la Crepe Bistro.More

Our group had a lovely dinner here and all raved about their selections. I was a little disappointed in mine as it did not meet my expectations. However the dessert more than made up for it.

-Food is excellent. Small portions, pricey, but worth it. I've been there 3 times for dinner and drinks (always a girls' night out) and have never been disappointed with the food or drinks. I have never tried their savory crepes, but have tried several appetizers,...salad, soup, and entrees, and a sweet crepe for dessert, and all have been excellent. -Restaurant is beautiful. Two rooms with large openings back and forth. Lovely fireplace. Great ambience and atmosphere. Decor, table decor, even utensils are unique, classy, and beautiful. And seemingly French. :) -The servers themselves are very nice, accommodating, and timely. -The restaurant's policies annoy me though... they won't split checks, and last night there were 3 of us. We gave 3 credit cards for one check, and they gave us a hard time about that. We just wanted to pay equally on each card. They ended up doing it but we had to complain. It was not the server's fault, she was just following the rules. That is why 4 stars and not 5.More

The food is horrible here. The owners are rude and belittle their employees. I over heard the chef in front of me tell an employee he was going to call immigration on them. Then I tried this disgusting food and left.

Found this hidden gem and what a special place it is! We started with Mussels and Scallops w/bacon, French beet salad & Lobster bisque soup. Our main courses were veal scallopini w/porcini sauce, Frog legs w/lemon, cream & dijon, French pork medallions w/ champagne dijon...sauce and Halibut. We ended our meal with Crepes Suzette w/caramelized sugar, orange juice & grand marnier. The main dining room was white linen, crystal glassware and beautiful chandeliers...we can't wait to go back.. Fabulous just fabulous!More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the SW suburbs. It is always a treat to come here. When you first see it from the outside, you will think this is like a lot of the other breakfast/lunch places in the suburbs. Don't judge...a book by its cover! It is a fine dining experience. We love the European feel, and the distinctive little touches, such as the cute china and glasses and overall décor. If you go on the weekend, you will see the waitresses in their "Eiffel Tower" inspired little black dresses, complete with pearls (adorable). The food is always very good. We love the starters, especially the scallops with Gruyere cheese, and the pate assortment. The soups--especially the lobster bisque--are delicious and the portions are large. We went to dinner with our Australian and Belgian friends, and they loved the restaurant. They also appreciated that we could carry on a conversation--the noise level was quite acceptable. NOTE: Normally we would give this restaurant a "5", but for this visit, we had two small issues. We normally don't feel rushed, but this time we slightly did. When we left, the restaurant was only about half full, so it wasn't as if they were going to give our table to waiting customers. The other thing was, we used a gift card as partial payment (about 1/4) towards our bill. The waitress pointed this out in front of our friends. We wish she hadn't done so. We don't think they minded, but we didn't want them to think we chose that restaurant only because we had a gift card, as this was not the case.More

Tramble the cook called to apologize. I asked him what are you apologizing for? He said I don’t know why but I’m sorry over and over. Sounds like Owner Rima bullied him to make that call. To not get exposed for the bullies... More
