I loved seafood: locos, centolla, pulles, sea urchins. Pisco sour was also great. Friendly service. Reasonable variety of Chilean wines. Needs to update decoration.

This low-profile restaurant is a gem. Real home cooking, great service (ask for Bernardo), and an amazing variety of local dishes. Try the 'Cordero arvejado', a kind of lamb casserole served with boiled potatoes. Unbelievable. The pisco sour is great too, the perfect way to prepare for what will be the best food you'll find in Coyhaique.

We come here often; it has become our preferred place for family gatherings. Fish is great, although in a couple of occasions it has come a bit cold. Pisco sours are tasty. At times the waiters mix the orders, which motivates rating of 4 out of 5. Visit La Casona. Overall a great local restaurant.

We ate here twice during our stay in town. First night was a 'lucky find' and we just squeezed in early; the second night we made sure we booked. Menu is varied, service is great (although a bit stretched at peak times .. around 10pm). Prices are very reasonable. Come here and you shouldn't be disappointed.

Our hotel advised us on this place since it was the only one open on the Sunday evening. Luckely we were early, because many reservations were made and soon the restaurant filled up. Good prepared dishes. As common in more restaurants we were presented the bill including a "voluntary" tip charge of 10%.

Went here for dinner last week while traveling around Chile. Stayed in a hotel just nearby. Didn't have reservations, but seated right away. Probably around 8 PM. But got crowded while we ate. Excellent wait staff. Many locals and return customers were there. Had a nice half bottle of white wine. My wife had a steak dish. I had eel.... More

Local restaurant with excellent and varied menu featuring lamb, beef and fish dishes. Service was friendly and expert, food was well prepared and fresh, and pricing reasonable.

We ate here twice as it was literally half a block behind our hotel and they opened earlier (7:30pm) than other restaurants for dinner. A couple of stand outs were the Lomo lo pobre (steak & eggs with fries), the salmon, and the Chilean salad (tomatoes and onion salad with herbs). We also tried their Ajiaco soup, a shrimp appetizer,... More

We were the first to arrive for lunch on a Saturday at noon. The waitress had limited English so we used our Spanish phone app to translate the menu. We had lamb w/ potatoes and salmon w/ rice - both very good.

This is obviously a favorite among locals. We ate here twice for lunch. Friendly place. Good food. Large menu with seafood featured. I liked the mashed potatoes (puré) and the fries (fritas) with the salmon con crab salsa (sauce). The lomo (beef) was not as good. Prices were a little high but normal for the area.
