Delicious food regardless of dietary restrictions

We spent 7 days in the resort and few members in our group had dietary restrictions i.e. Gluten Free, No sea food, Vegetarian. Despite those, all of us, including those that didn't have any restrictions, ate gourmet food in every meal. The food is served anywhere and anytime, which is very nice, and the quality and variety was excellent. We loved every mean and every dish that was offered to us. The staff already knew who can eat what food, and we could focus on enjoying our time in this great restaurant, without having to re-explain our constraints. Highly recommended !

The most incredible meal EVER!

We don’t even know where to start with this review as everything was absolutely perfect!! We booked the jetty dinner for two as a special treat for our honeymoon. From the moment we came to Lombok Lodge the staff were calm, friendly and attentive. The interior design and whole ambiance of the place is nothing short of incredible. The staff took us to the bar where we enjoyed some fabulous cocktails. The gin and tonic mojito was amazing! We were then taken down to the breathtaking jetty where the attention to detail was incredible. During our meal the food was some of the best we’ve ever tried and it was a nice touch for the friendly chef to come out to greet us. Our waiter was the perfect balance of attentive whilst also allowing us privacy to enjoy the setting and food. We cannot recommend Flavors enough, ever single detail was perfect and we will remember it forever as a very special part of our honeymoon. Fabby and Dan

Chef Jiwa is a food magician

I don't know what else to say about Chef Jiwa except that he is a magician. We ate his food while staying at the Lombok Lodge, and we did not have one bad meal. Everything he made was delicious and well deserving of 5 stars. One night in particular really stands out. Chef Jiwa had a Lombok lobster special menu. OH MY GOD!!!! All I have to say about the Lombok lobster special menu is that Chef Jiwa has ruined my life because I will never be able to eat lobster again unless it is Lombok lobster and it is cooked by him. I could name dish after dish after dish that was amazing, but I won't because I don't need to...EVERYTHING HE COOKS IS AMAZING. There is a difference between a cook and a chef. A cook simply cooks food. A chef puts his heart and soul into every dish he makes. Chef Jiwa puts his heart and soul into his cooking and delivers an experience that cannot be replicated and forgotten. Move mountains to stay at the Lombok Lodge and have Chef Jiwa cook for you.

Best Restaurant in Lombok!

We recently stayed at The Lombok Lodge as guests and we were fortunate to be able to eat dinner every night at Flavors. Chef Jiwa is an absolute gem of a chef! He wowed us every day with his delicious 5-course meal dinners every day, as well as the special Indonesian “Rijstafel” dinner. We left the table every night full and satisfied and eager to return the next night to see what the Chef was going to prepare us next! We look forward to returning soon and enjoying more of Chef Jiwa’s meticulously prepared delicious meals!

We extremely enjoyed the dining by Chef Jiwa, he is one of the best chefs on the island. Every evening his team prepared an amazing minimum 4 course dining menu, which really amazed my taste buds. The plates were designed like art and there was much variety in Indonesian and Western dishes. Also the kids food menu had so many choices. Overall experience was exquisite.

We had a great meal, but the pace at which the food is served was a bit too fast. The first course was already served before we had the chance to order a drink, which we experience as a minus. So there is still room for improvement in the service, especially given the prices that are being asked.

This is truly fine dining. A lovely venue, with only 10 tables for dinner. There is a set menu, which you can see online, so pick a day where you like the look of what is on. That said, chef will accommodate food allergies. Food was perfectly cooked, presented, and served. Not cheap, but worth every rupee.

Quick visit for dinner

We made dinner reservation for one evening, whilst staying next door at The Oberoi so that we could get an impression of the property. To confirm your reservation you need to make a significant credit card deposit. The place looks nice at the surface, but also had a feel of style over substance. The dinner tables are nicely set up at the pool, but the directors chairs whilst looking cool weren’t the most comfortable for a relaxed dinner….especially when mine gradually started folding together (which eventually got fixed by one of the team when they noticed). They serve a fixed 4-course menu which is shared with you when you book, so you know what to expect. Whilst the food was nice, portions weren’t the most generous and it wasn’t as impressive as the €207 bill for 2 meals, two aperitifs and a bottle of wine.

For more than 10 years, we have fallen in love with The Lombok Lodge with its unique Hotel Concept. This hidden haven offers an exceptional level of luxury. You can overlook the shimmering turquoise ocean of Lombok’s beautiful Medana Bay. The property is maintained outstandingly, the rooms are extremely clean, and the overall atmosphere at the Lombok Lodge is one of tranquility, attention to detail, and happiness with a lot of smiles from the staff. The dishes are delicious and vary from Indonesian to Pan-Asian and Western food. Every meal is well-balanced and is composed of sweet, sour, bitter, and salty components and a wide range of quality products. Can you imagine? They harvest organic herbs from their own organic garden. Chef Jiwa delivered stunning meals every day and took the time to personally visit us and check in to ensure our meals were to our personal preference. He prepared “Royal Breakfasts” each day and wowed us with stunning 4-course dinners in the Flavors restaurant. But also, the Italian Osteria for lunch can be recommended as a typical Italian Osteria where you enjoy pizza and pasta, and many other timeless classics of Italian cuisine, such as antipasti, salads, and delicious dolci. We are still truly amazed by the top-notch hospitality. Needless to say, we look forward to coming heading over to this paradise again soon and would highly recommend this for people who are looking to switch off and recharge in heaven.
