Very sweet people, good mushrooms

My youngest daughter & I have a day out every Friday while the older two are at school & we always pick a different restaurant to try. This was my first time eating here so I ordered the stuffed mushrooms, which were SO good! I dipped my breadstick in them, too. The only thing was that I wish there were a few more of them (or at least bigger ones) for the price, but the flavor was amazing. My daughter ordered the chicken fingers & fries, like she does everywhere we go. She ate the fries, but did not like the chicken at all. I tasted it & it did seem pretty bland so I didn't blame her. But, hey, it's an Italian place, they're not known for their chicken strips.

Much improved under new ownership

Milano's changed ownership a few months ago. The new owner has greatly improved the ambience, which is now brighter and classier looking, as well as the food, now excellent. Service is prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem

A hidden gem in Maumelle. Small family owned restaurant vibe with an intimate more upscale vibe. The fried calamari and stuffed mushrooms appetizers are delicious. The pasta dishes are rich and hearty in flavor. Desserts like the tiramisu and limoncello cake are amazing. Staff and owners are down to earth and easy to talk too. Definitely eating there again!

Eat at your own risk!

Pre-Covid I loved the food from this place. However, during this pandemic safety has to be highly practiced. So..I was truly shocked when I went in to order and saw that none of the cooks were wearing mask. When I asked why the manager or owner(he didn't say) was very rude and stated that I shouldn't have ordered if it was a problem. Pretty much told me I didn't have to bother coming back. Very rude and negligent!!!

Awful

I ordered lasagna and chicken Marsala to go, with a side of garlic cheese bread. My chicken was enjoyed by the dog, the pasta went in the trash, mushrooms were just ok. Garlic bread was soggy. Lasagna was fair at best. Very disappointed, awful food. We will not be visiting again!

Our experience was not good

The lobster ravioli was awful was sent back. The lasagna was was OK. Nothing extra. we ordered desserts to go. My husband’s German chocolate cake tasted old. We’ve decided we probably will not go

Great Italian joint in....Maumelle? True story

Friendly staff, fantastic food and great value. We were down visiting my aunt and she really likes Italian food so we thought we would give it a shot and will DEFINITELY be back. Best lasagna I've ever had.

One of the best veal dishes ever eat Home made fresh bread with oil and garlic And tiramisu is to die for Service fantastic The only thing lacking is ambiance If owners hire interior decorator they would make a killing would make top restaurant in Little Rock area Would highly recommend

Four of us all enjoyed our meals. Two had the lobster ravioli which they said was excellent. I had the pasta combo, which was very good. The dinner rolls were great and so was the dessert. Service was friendly and very prompt. Don't understand the complaints in other reviews.

This family business is dedicated to customer service and connections with their customers. The food is fabulous- get the lasagna. You will want to go back because you will feel like an appreciated guest and because the food is worth returning again and again.

First Time to Restaurant And Got Stressed

I’ve never been here and wanted to give it a shot since it’s close to my house. First, atmosphere means a great deal to me when dining out. This place has nada. Second, it was short staffed and the waitresses were obviously stressed out which made me stressed. Ugh. My daughter ordered the Chicken Alfredo pasta. It tasted like powdered milk sauce, watery and no butter or creamy texture. I ordered eggplant Parmesan and got chicken with red sauce and pasta and no eggplant. I’m a vegetarian. So, not wanting to wait any longer I just went along with the wrong order. For $50 for 2 of us, won’t be back. I will say the bread was very good.

Reopened and Better than Ever

We love this local Italian restaurant and under new management has made it even better. Some old favorites with some new menu items and fresh ingredients make this a great choice in Maumelle. Good wine list and dessert menu too.
