23rd February 2017, my daughter and 8 yr old granddaughter were travelling to visit me today. After being on the road for about 4 hours, because of various hold ups, thanks to storm Doris, my granddaughter needed a comfort break. On entering the Pipers, my daughter explained that my granddaughter had a water infection and asked if she would be... More

absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. No Christmas music, tables laid in such a way that you could only converse to the person next to you, or shout across the room to the people opposite. £20 for 2 mediocre courses. If you wanted coffee you had to buy it at the bar. Definitely not value for money. We will not be back!!!!!!!!

The staff were all friendly and everything was very well organised. Alan also agreed to stay open a little longer than normal so we could enjoy our... More

Food was OK nothing to shout home about, have been here a couple of times, and for such a large place it's very empty and lacks atmosphere.

Having been to the Pipers three times before but on a Sunday night, and always had sirloin it seemed the ideal price to go on a Saturday night. The sirloin was awful, I have had the sirloin on every visit but this was uneatable, difficult to cut , and very chewy, I went to get another drink and spoke to... More

We visited The Pipers on Sunday evening for food. There was a good choice on offer but we just fancied a beef roast. We had soup for starters followed by a delicious roast beef meal with a variety of fresh veg, beautifully served. The staff were attentive, friendly and polite and we were extremely happy with the service given -... More
