The door posts a sign, cash only. Opened the door peaked in and decided to skip it completely. There is very little to choose from in lake village and that's a shame because it could be a good recreational spot but looks like no one wants it that way.

I was looking for something good to eat while traveling… something local and not franchised food. This place had good ratings so despite the title, LJ’s Bait Shop and Café, I decided to give it a try. I didn’t expect it to look particular spiffy but I did expect the parking lot to be full. I was starting to question... More

Mrs Wanda (owner) is super sweet and very friendly. Breakfast tastes like it should at granny's house. Good lunches too. Great real meat burgers

We were travelling through and decided to stop by LJ's based on the other reviews here. It's a little bit off the main highway but well worth the stop. We all had their home made hamburgers. These were some of the best hamburgers I've ever had. This is a favorite with the locals. Can't go wrong here!

After reading good reviews, decided to have lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Lived up to the reviews! Patty melt for me and Philly cheese steak for hubby. Both tasted great. Sure, this place isn't fancy by any means, but I kind of liked that! Friendly folks to boot!

We travel through Lake Village each year on our way to and from vacation. Some family members recommended trying this "hole in the wall" on our way home and we very much enjoyed the friendly service and yummy burgers!!

We stopped for lunch at LJ'S as a last resort after trying to find a restaurant in Lake Village. A cafe in a bait shop- we didn't have high hopes despite all the full tables. Looking around it appeared most were eating sandwiches, so we elected to skip the plate lunches and go for burgers. Patty melt and cheeseburger were... More

We caught LJ's during the lunch rush on a Thursday. It isn't much to look at, outside or inside, but the food was great. They had a lot of takeout orders when we arrived, so we did have to wait a while to get our food. (Just 2 people in the kitchen since it's a small place.) We found that... More
