We were beginning to get nervous when the road kept getting worse....and then we came to its end and a river. Not to worry, a small boat will take you across and you will be there! The fish is fresh, Wilson was there to greet...us, and the food was amazing. Off the beaten path for sure, but so worth it.More

We have been here a couple of times— my husband is a local of Cabarete and it never disappoints! The food is delicious and the view/ area are amazing! We had the fried fish and the lobster along with some crab. The sides were served...family style (rice, plantains, salad), all delicious as well. Such a fun afternoon! We had a late lunch and then sat and enjoyed the beach/River having a few drinks. Wilson himself came to greet us and check on us. A must if visiting Cabarete.More

Food was great! We felt like we were family! Hard to get to but worth the trip. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because of the Jejenes! Sand fleas! Use large amounts of bug spray and wear long pants if you...can. Other than that a really authentic Dominican foodie experience!More

Such a cool restaurant located on a small island in La Boca. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the food is outstanding. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience and highly recommend it. The food was amazing. The location was very rustic and we crossed the river in a wooden boat that had a coffee can to bail out the water. We met Mr. Wilson and road across the river with him....He was very pleasant and most accommodating and runs a tight ship. Highly recommend thisMore

We were expecting something very fancy because we heard it was pricier ... the fun part that made it worth a visit was a boat ride over from the dead end!! Then to see the lack of ambiance was actually funny because of what we...had imagined BUT the staff were great and we had running punch in pineapples. We had heard from others that their fish dinners, although pricey, were worth the trip!More

We enjoyed the river boat tour as well and Wilson was an amazing tour guide. Beautiful tour ending in a swim in pristine river and meal cooked over open fire. Breath taking sights lovely people and delicious food and drink. I recommend the coco loco...a not too sweet drink made with coconut water and served in a fresh coconut. Bring your camera and a big appetite!More

This place is at the river edge and you get there thru a dirt road! Rustic is not the world but is close! Service is excellent and the food delicious! Did I mention cheap also! Best food in Cabarete! Yes would come back next time.

Unique experience when you go by boat for a short ride to the restaurant. Fresh fish chicken and fried eggplant to die for. Cold beer. What else is there? Good time with friends.

Wilson does a boat tour which is very reasonable and fun. He is actually an aspiring local politician. He can arrange for a taxi to pick you up and take you to the boat tour place. They have a small cage with birds. A dog... More

Sorry can't help. We went as part of a tour organised by Wilson himself. It is rather isolated or seems to be.Wilson visits some of the hotels organising tours of which he petsonally does some. Very good !
