Great food and exceptional customer service!

We have lived in Cabarete for 3 months and have been eating lunch/dinner at Drifter many many times. Love the place, the food is fresh and delicious. Waiters were always super positive and friendly. You should try tuna tacos (my favorite) and pizza just is the best in Cabarete for sure. If you don’t feel like having dinner, they usually have live music or DJ at evenings and you can enjoy delicious cocktails (I tried them all 😂) Call for reservation on weekdays. Enjoy

Amazing restaurant, the food is delicious, nice and cozy atmosphere. You should definitely try the cocktails on sunset. Nice music, especially when there is a DJ on Sundays the party can start very early. I love Drifter. ❤️

Good food a bit pricey

Really great food and super atmosphere right on the beach. Food was a bit pricy for what you got but again it was really good. The water they brought us was 450 pesos! To me that was a bit much even on the beach. Would recommend for those not on a budget or just want a nice quiet night.

The atmosphere is very entertaining however the staff and the waiters are in friendly and unaccommodating. The food was not even edible. I ordered the fish tacos and my friend ordered the pork tacos and we took one bite and we’re unable to eat anymore and when we talk to the management regarding the situation, they told us it was our problem that we didn’t like their food and would not let us order any other food, and refused to give us a refund even though we did not eat any of the food, this place is a dive do not go I highly recommend do not go to this place.

The unfriendly service is simply unparalleled

Prepare to be astounded by the extraordinary dining experience we had at this remarkable restaurant. The unfriendly service was simply unparalleled, with a waiter who mastered the art of not apologizing. The fish they served was a true work of art, so unbaked that attempting to cut through it became an exhilarating challenge. To add to the adventure, some parts of the fish decided to take a dive into the sand. In an act of culinary genius, the kitchen took the fish back, only to bring us the exact same fish, missing parts and all. Bravo, indeed, for such an unforgettable dining experience and the remarkable absence of apologies from the waiter.

You won't be disappointed

This is by far my favorite beachfront restaurant in Cabarete. The food was great and the location can't be beat. The cocktails were fantastic, and the service was just as good. I have no idea why it's not rated higher. Do yourself a favor and go check it out.

Its the best restaurant in Cabarete.There is the most delicious pizza that I have ever had in my life.The atmosphere is amazing with great sunsets.The food is more than delicious with many variations.The staff and the service is really good and friendly.If you visit Cabarete I recommend it for sure!:)

Great views of the beach & ocean in Cabarete

Wonderful beach front bar and restaurant. We stopped in the afternoon for a drink as we people watched. We had the Drifter margarita which was light and a bit tart my wife loved it. I had the jalapeño margarita which was spicy and very good. We ordered the ahi carpaccio which had an amazing presentation. See through circles of sliced ahi beautifully arranged on a plate.

Good Food but Outrageously Priced

We paid $150.00 for 1 bar drink, 1 coffee and 3 appetizers. Shocked the bill came out so high! 18% tax plus 10% service on top of that! We won't be back!

Best spot in Cabarete!! Not enough words to describe, but food is amazing, make sure you try the beef carpaccio, makes you feel you are in Italy, the fish, next level!! I literally spent a week dinning there! To top everything, they have an amazing DJ and it gets super fun! I Can’t wait to be back!
