We do the best pizza on the Mekong. Or so our customers say. Thin, slightly crispy crust with organic salads and very good Australian beef for those who don't want pizza. Don't forget to try the fresh chocolate chip cookies. There's the usual assortment of Thai (and Lao) beers and a modest but decent wine selection. Try us. You'll like us. From what others are saying, it's the best kept secret in the Golden Triangle. OK, maybe not THE best. There's LOTS of secrets here, but you get the idea.

Paid another visit after two years and nothing has changed, Great service, great food and the owner even remembered me. And not just pizzas, other Western meals are available and can be accompanied by a bottle or three of wine. Too long between visits! Worth a visit!

We were a large group of four adults and five children, and Mekong pizza did not disappoint. We enjoyed everything from the salads, pizza, lasagne, and the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with ice cream. Service was fast, the staff was delightful, and the ping pong table was a bonus for the children. We also enjoyed the great hospitality and conversation of our host Sao and Michael. I would highly recommend Mekong Pizza.

The Mekong Pizza is one of the reasons why we come from time to time to Chiang Saen and the Golden Triangle. This is - as I wrote in another review - one of 2 places where the wife continues the work of the Italian or American chef for a very good Pizza with the very best success. We take the Pizza home. It takes just 15min. until they have it ready, thin & grisp & perfect.

Mekong Pizza is a great escape from the 2 prominent 5 star establishments just up the road.
A welcome relief, enjoying great hospitality, great pizzas, and a complete offering of western favourites on the menu.
Prices were very fair, and represent very good value.
My new zealand steak was better than i could have hoped for at home, and probably cheaper than i could have sourced it for too.
Great conversation was had with Michael, a very accomodating and knowledgeable gentleman.
We will return!

Sao is an excellent pizza chef and wonderful hostess. We had a large group, but they took such great care to make sure we had an awesome experience. We enjoyed everything (food, atmosphere, ping pong) and the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with ice cream were the perfect finish. If you visit the Golden Triangle, you must eat at Mekong Pizza.

Just went out exploring for the afternoon and had a walk up at the Triangle so as I Love pizza Mekong Pizza was an easy choice.
And the didn’t disappoint - The Happy Mekong pizza was very tasty with a nice thin crust, plenty of cheese and great ingredients. I will definitely come back

Fantastic local spot in the Golden Triangle on the Mekong River. Tasty thin crust offerings with large salads and a nice selection of beer, wine and a few cocktails. Owners are awesome as well.

Very nice place! The pizza is very tasty: the dough is thin and crispy, not greasy. The fries are crispy and very tasty. The salads are fresh. The prices are very reasonable. The toilet is clean and tidy, pleasant music plays.

Excellent thin crust pizza - fast, reliable and very tasty and the best fries in Thailand. Friendly owners and staff and they have table tennis, something fun to do while you wait. Thank you for keeping good prices also.

The best pizza I've ever had. We were a group of 12 and everyone agreed. Thin base, super tasty. Very happy, friendly and welcoming people.
