Lovely little family run cafe. Veggie and vegan - super tasty and cheap!! Look OPPOSITE The Moon - which is busy due to Lonely Planet and try this place out. We ate in both - and this was better!!

A family run restaurant. Don't let the simple setting misguide you. The dishes are exquisite, the service is outstanding and the friendliness is uplifting. I was touched by their helpful attitude. Their lassi and juices are a welcomed relaxation, rich of taste. Following their advice we ordered the menu as suggested and it was fantastic. Many tourists follow the guide... More

we loved the food here specially de tomato peanut curry (please try it, best curry in myanmar), the guacamole with papadam and the seasonal fruit juice (pineapple for us)!! But what make this place so special and why we came almost every day was the friendly family. They really want you to be happy, they even offer you lots of... More

This restaurant makes a good rest stop after a run at the temples. Good, friendly service, (with much appreciated frozen moisture towelettes), and a menu that offers great food and drink options. I can recommend the green papaya salad and lime juice for a mid day snack.

Visited this restaurant as the only patron and watched the incessant flow of e-bikes pulling up outside Be Kind to Animals just across the road......it's amazing what a guide book mention can do for a business! The food here was good and yes, the tomato and peanut curry is worth a go along with the mango lassi. The older fellow... More

We ate here three times during our three day visit to Bagan. Great food and very cheap, lovely family who has owned the place for 18 years

As a vegetarian, was excited to try the two competing (and neighboring) vegetarian restaurants in Bagan - Yar Pyi and the Moon. Visited Yar Pyi for dinner. Definitely not as packed as the Moon, but not for lack of delicious food and friendly service. The owner and family provide personalized and chatty service. Followed the handwritten reviews and got the... More
