A delightful day ~ the only issue i had was that there were more jeeps here than on my other safaris this trip I had been to very private camps

The best camp ever! Fantastic view from the tent, wild animals all over the place! Must have escort of a masai in the evenings because of the wild beasts...comfortable big beds, great showerroom, hot water, very friendly staff!

We stayed here for one night on our safari. Tents were on stilts and were massive. We had 3 small double beds and extremely large bathroom area on the back of the tent. It had a great view. Watched fabulous sun set from the restaurant....More

We had a great stay at Ngorogoro Wild camp. We had booked two tents but they were so big that we only needed one :-) The people who worked there were amazing. They made our stay super. We hope that we can return some day!

Hi Wendywind, In Early September - Afternoon temperatures are usually around 19°C/66°F on the crater floor. Sunny, cloudless skies are normal.

Ngorongoro Wildcamp is located in the side of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Karatu area. Coming from Arusha, it is about 140 km . The mobile camp is composed of 20 comfortable tents with capacity to accommodate 2 guest each, and a large dining tent.
