We always take our guests to the African Pot. We always take different side dishes so everybody can try the different things. The evening was very relaxed and the life band made it even more romantic. If you are in Diani, just try the African Pot and you will be surprised !

Simple and unpretentious neighbourhood restaurant with the warmest of African welcomes and an authentic atmospheric setting. We were the only guests on a Thursday evening- normally this would have provoked great uneasiness- but not here! The genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff meant we were well looked after and able to enjoy the local cuisine- mutton curry with rice... More

We have visted several times African pot with our guests and each time it is a real experiance. Nobody is disappointed. We advise you to try several different side dishes and to choose one head menu. Prices are very reasonable.

African Pot is a good recommendation for a traditional meal out! All the dishes are prepared fresh- so don't go there hungry, as the food takes a while to come out of the kitchen! But once arrived you will enjoy the well seasoned dishes which are served in traditional clay pots!! My favorite there is the mutton with fresh chapatis!

We were pleasantly surprised by the food and the service here, it was really very good. We asked our taxi driver to take us to a restaurant that serves local cuisine and he took us here. We were the only tourists and visited as a family with small children, it's rustic, it's African and it was a great place. The... More
