My wife and I have visited the restaurant twice now with family and friends- we love it!😍
Pizzas are big and delicious 🤤
Staff- very friendly and they have this unique thing they do, when you have something like a backpack or something- they bring a “chair” (small table) for it so it’s not on the floor !! We’ve never seen this done elsewhere. This is awesome 👏🏻 😎
Definitely worth a visit or two more🤩

Literally the best Pizza 🍕 I had after almost 1,5 years in Kenya. I ordered a Pizza Romano with a passion juice and didn't get disappointed by the high quality and the tastes. Extraordinary special, also the atmosphere in the place is lovely although it's at the street which isn't too busy.

The pizza was served piping hot, lovely salami on top, could really taste the flavour of the salami, and crispy. The homemade garlic, and the chilli sauce was also delicious.
The dawa was delish!
Had the calamari and prawns as well, all great value for money.

A pitiful reception by the staff. We went with our family after selecting from numerous places. Soonest we arrived, we politely and cordially asked these taff if they could accommodate us, a group of 13 people which I would expect a restaurant to invite with open arms considering the business we were about to give, given the hard times.
Regretfully, we had a terrible reception wherein the staff literally shooed us away.
We asked if we could have a meal with them and the first response was an outright NO!
Being surprised by their reply, I asked if they could accommodate us in any way and there was an absolute NO, yet the sitting was more than half empty.
Finally I asked the main lady staff whether she was even interested in our business and the smirked at us with a reply of...." I can't and won't answer that"
Forget about the food, which definitely cannot be good coming from people with such a heart towards clients.
A very regrettable experience. Instead we went to House of wood fired where they served us delicious pizzas/ food. Service was excellent and the ambience relaxed.

Having quite a lot of experience eating pizza in Italy, I can say Jolly Bar brings a real taste of Italy to Kenya! We appreciated the yummy pizza and the great staff, who did everything to help us (one night delivering pizzas to our rather difficult to find beach house, and one night preparing us pizzas shortly before curfew as we got there very late after a long drive). The owner is often there, a very friendly guy from northern Italy. Relaxed, easy atmosphere and great pizzas. Perfect!

Several things I was not really convinced about.
1) Mozzarella from caprese did not taste fresh. Was rather hard.
2) Potatoes from pork chop were very oily, not completely cooked and Luke warm.
However the pork was nice.

Probably still the best pizza in the neighbourhood. And yes the price for a glass of wine is still so so overpriced. And yes I know the owner will answer it’s because it’s so good wine bottles from Italy. No. It’s ordinary wine served in a glass of the table so who can tell where it comes from!

Don't ever visit this establishment. The owner is rude and the wife is 4rude as well I have never felt so disrespected as an American. They did not even try to understand my accent or any of the questions that I was asking. We had an issue with the delivery because I was not there but I had already paid for the order and was going through an emergency which I told them to leave the food which I had already paid. I recently just ordered from them and we live very close by. There was a power outage and i called back to see if I should cancel my order and the wife was loud obnoxious and rude. Also, the food is average anyway. I will be sure to post on every website I can think of about. In the past year I have lived here, I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I understand my english slang can be a little hard to be so ignorant is just disappointing.

Been here a couple of times and enjoy every one of them… Food is great, service is great and the owner is exceptionally friendly and nice to customers. Their pizza is especially yummy alongside their fresh mozarella! Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for italian food!

This is probably the best pizza in town. Exactly how nice it should be. Thin and crispy. There wine is for no reason so overpriced. 500 KSH for a glass of wine is way to expensive compared to similar places in the area. No separate smoking and no-smoking area.

The pizza was really great with a nice thin crust trully the best we have had so far in diani. The service is okay but the ambiance is just spectacular. For dessert i had tiramisu icecream which was pretty good aswell . This will for sure become our regular pizza place

Jolly Bar Pizzeria ...
Makes perhaps the best pizza in Diani beach. I loved their thin crust Marinara pizza. It was firmer and had a delicious doughy crust. I ordered via their Whatsapp number and rode my bike in the night to pick up the pizza. It is well worth the experience and works as a good simple late night dinner option.
Service is great and attentive and the food was delicious. Its also affordable as well. Would recommend it for people looking for an Italian restaurant experience in Diani.

Not recommended and I find it hard to understand that the rating of the place is so high. We had pizza and maybe other dishes are better? Located right next to the road and is quite cozy although the waitresses were cute and nice.
