Stayed at the boat house and dined at mango several times. Enjoyed the friendly staff and the meals are good enough. It is Tonga after all. Wifi was pathetic and couldn't get connected ever. Make sure you hound them to get logged in. Regardless, we loved the view, there was live entertainment most nights and it's all very relaxed.

I spent a few leisurely hours at the Mango Cafe while in Tonga on a swimming and whale watching holiday. Had snacks, coffee, dinner, drinks (not all at the same time). Food is good and reasonable priced. Coffee is good. Free wifi. Happy hour. Relaxing view, friendly staff. What's not to like?

Most things on the menu were not available, but the drinks were cold and the view outstanding. When you order hot chips you get Taro chips - quite a surprise, not good for the teeth!

Spent a few days staying at the boathouse. Lovely location to just sit and watch the bay and comings and goings of the yachts . Food is good large portions not cheap but good service. We rented kayaks for an afternoon.

The view across the Bay Of Refuge from this restaurant is magnificent. It is the perfect location for a leisurely lunch while taking in all that happens on the water in font of you. The food was lovely, the staff friendly and the decor just beautiful. Very nice.

A top spot to have a drink on the verandah and watch the yachts sail in and out. Had pizza (top$20) (thin crispy crust), local beer (top$7). Great service, friendly staff.

This was the third restaurant we tried in Neiafu and we thought it the best. We came for dinner one evening - think it was a Friday or Saturday. They have a lovely large deck overlooking the harbour and all the moored yachts with little dinghies bringing many sailors in for the evening drinks and meal. It was a bit... More

Mango is beautifully located near the harbor overlooking the water. The menu is diverse and the atmosphere congenial. Pleasant service and a very nice clientele.

Fantastic dinner. The service and food was at a high standard which matched the location. Watching the sun go down over the harbour while drinking the local beer and eating fish and chip made a good night.

Ok so maybe we didn't catch them at their best. You need to remember that things run on Tongan time around here. We ordered 4 ham and cheese toasties which took 40 minutes to arrive - there was only one other person in the entire restaurant. The odd thing often is that if the place was full it probably would...
