A top spot to have a drink on the verandah and watch the yachts sail in and out. Had pizza (top$20) (thin crispy crust), local beer (top$7). Great service, friendly staff.

This was the third restaurant we tried in Neiafu and we thought it the best. We came for dinner one evening - think it was a Friday or Saturday. They have a lovely large deck overlooking the harbour and all the moored yachts with little dinghies bringing many sailors in for the evening drinks and meal. It was a bit... More

Mango is beautifully located near the harbor overlooking the water. The menu is diverse and the atmosphere congenial. Pleasant service and a very nice clientele.

Fantastic dinner. The service and food was at a high standard which matched the location. Watching the sun go down over the harbour while drinking the local beer and eating fish and chip made a good night.

Ok so maybe we didn't catch them at their best. You need to remember that things run on Tongan time around here. We ordered 4 ham and cheese toasties which took 40 minutes to arrive - there was only one other person in the entire restaurant. The odd thing often is that if the place was full it probably would... Lovely spot little away from the 'busy' center, by the sea. Good place to while away a lazy afternoon. Fish is fresh and the best choice. Bit overcooked even when asked to be medium, rice could be more al dente so you'd be better off with mash. The sauces are exquisite, bit of gourmet here. Good coffee in generous pot.

While searching for the former Vavau Yacht Club overlooking all of the boats in Bay of Refuge we discovered that it was now the Mango Café. We were so glad to find it!! It's been all redone beautifully. Lots of shade, a great atmosphere, friendly staff and we loved sitting enjoying the local beer in the shade. Friends arrived and... More

Great location, food and drink good. Right on the wharf. Whatch the yachts come and go while you have a drink, lunch or dinner.

We tried Mango Cafe for a late lunch/early dinner during our stay in Vava'u. The location is about 5 minutes walk from town where the swim operators are and has a lovely view of the harbour and yachts. It was however a let down that 3 meal choices were unavailable so we had to go with other options. The menu... More
