Very tasty hand made icecreams
I came with my wife through review we read in Israel.
The owner told us that her husband invented the helado de vino.
We taste it and it was amazing.
We tried more tastes like mango and peach and it taste almost like the real fruits.
Suggest to try!

Honestly, the taste of the two (white and red wine) wine ice creams is not as great as I had thought that it would be. For me, wine in a sherbet format does not really work. That said, this is a unique opportunity to eat this, so be sure to try.

We went here to try the wine ice cream but we did not really like it. We had torrontes, cabernet, lemon and tuna (fruit) flavors. The fruit flavors tasted better than the wine flavors. Both wine flavors were quite strong and not very pleasant. We do not recommend it.

Over $3 for two scoops of ice cream? And small scoops at that. And then when I ask if I can try some befor ordering I'm informed that I can only try one, that's it. Honestly, I don't understand the hype with this place... charging first world country prices and serving the smallest scoops in the world. I tried a sample of the Cabernet ice cream....all I can say is "weird"... I ended up with chocolate which was average at best. Save ur money and don't buy here

We went there to try the ‘original wine ice cream’ and we were disappointed. The red and white wine sorbets are just ok, but what is really disappointing is the place which is running down, the cold service and the prices. You can try wine ice creams in other places cheaper and more comfortable.

Technically I'cant dat much about this place other than the fact that it's closed a lot. We stayed quite close to the heladeria, and always arrived to a sign that we should come back at a certain time. We followed her 'instructions', hell we even came back 3 times during different days... we ended up buying a (actually very good) wine ice cream on the other side of the road.

The Torrontes sorbet was excellent, the owner very friendly and chatty.
Seems to be cosed quite often though (opening times seem a bit unpredicatble).

The first thing I'll say is that I'm a wine lover. I go to wine-tastings, I've completed wine courses and I especially love my red wine with Argentinian malbec being one of my favourites.
I tried the Cabernet Savignon ice cream at Heladeria Miranda yesterday and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I almost had to choke it down. It's too strong and could be imitated at home by freezing a very cheap glass of wine in a suitable mould and then licking it. It was overpriced too!
I don't mean to be harsh but this is definitely one of those places that is still benefiting from a lonely planet publication.

weird place, all the reviews of lonely planets sticking on the windows of a mildly run down place.
The ice cream was very good though but the most expensive I had so far in Argentina.

We went a little bit out of the way to try the wine ice cream. The flavor would not be my favorite, but Miranda heaped it on top of my flavor of choice so that I could try it - which I did. It is a little different , so you have to have some.

It's fun to try the torrontes and cabernet sorbet flavors but the regular ice cream flavors are not that outstanding.

I tried four flavours over a couple of days: all full of real taste. The Dulce de Leche was probably the best. The lady manager could not be more pleasant and knowledgeable about Sr Miranda, the inventor of the wine sorbets. She takes her time with each serving, because she is packing into your cup or cone as much as possible.

But you're going to have to wait a while as she carefully and cautiosly scoops each small spoon. Meanwhile you can people because it's a relatively busy commercial street. Cafayatenos jump in and out of stores or wave at passing cars.
