Food and wine were excellent, unfortunately tables are not lightened, thus you can’t see the dish; we recommend to improve the illumination. Somehow food and ambiance do not match. Obviously we were not lucky with our service staff, the only female at this establishment. She...made us feel uncomfortable and was more interested in her Make-up and walk than in serving. We left early because we didn’t feel welcome.More

This continues local rip off. 1. You are charged for a show no one tells you from out start. Ask before what the charge is. 2. No Amex. 3. The pairing of wines is brought in a glass so you have no idea if the...wine is what you agreed to. Yes bottles may be refilled with any wine, but it is courteous to show bottle they are supposedly pouring. Very popular and in demand, so they do what they want. Pitiful.More

A dinner table at Bad Brother's Restaurant over a long-weekend had to be booked in advance and there is probably a reason for it. The place is beautiful, the menu was innovative and fresh with a good range of different options. The overall impression was...that while the service was good and the food well-presented, it was rather bland and lacked taste. The bad Brothers MaTaCa (combo of Malbec-Tannat-Cabernet) red wine was however delightful and is highly recommended.More

We happened to walk past this place and decided to stop in to do a wine tasting - we are so glad we did. It was mid-day and we were the only customers but we lucked out because Augustine was working. We unfortunately don't speak...Spanish so were very fortunate that Augustine spoke good English. The wine was great and his passion for the wine made it a great experience. We had quite a long tasting which was nice to get to learn about the high altitude wines. Since there was no one else in the place at the time we had a very personalized experience but I don't know if it would have been as extensive if the place had been busier. Regardless, I would highly recommend Bad Brothers.More

We very much enjoyed the dinner in the garden with a romantic atmosphere. The food was of high quality and lovingly presented. As we noticed next morning, the food was also well digestible -- even so we eat a bit more than recommended. We chose...a wine from the wine-tasting we made during the afternoon, of course. It was the last bottle left -- which raised to our enthusiasm even more.More

Five stars, wooo hooo! Really pleased we ticked all your boxes, and thanks for taking the time to comment. That makes you one of our favorite people... a real Bad Brother, or Bad Sister, such as the case may be.

Thoroughly enjoyed a chilled evening here tasting a bit of each of the wines and also a selection of their tapas style dishes. Service was very good and had a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful experience! Exceeded expectations even after reading the reviews. The atmosphere was lovely. The hostess spoke English very well and was incredibly helpful explaining the tapas concept menu and offering perfect recommendations. Our waitress was very good too but was rushing us just...a bit. Food was delicious and wonderfully presented. We also enjoyed the wine although we chose to order a bottle vs paring wines with courses. We finished with a wonderful chocolate dessert and warm hug from the hostess on our way out. Thank you for a perfect evening in Cafayate ❤️More

We stopped for a glass of wine before dinner, but ended up spending the whole night here. The wines are of greatest quality, a joy for the senses. Here one can definitely appreciate the wide variety in taste that Malbec can offer. The food is...just as delicious as the wines, with original ideas and choices not found elsewhere. Really stands out of the crowd. By far our favorite wine experience in 1 month spent in Argentina.More

We loved this bar/restaurant so much that we visited twice during a three night stay in Cafayate. Lovely atmosphere, accommodating to us despite having a big group coming in, lovely wines and some of the best food we’ve had in 3 months in South America....Small brilliant plates of food that are well priced for the quality... we’ve been talking about the gratin with goat for several days :)More

My boyfriend and I ate dinner here last week and absolutely loved it. The food is really high quality, small plates but done to almost a fine dining standard. Enough veggie options and some interesting local dishes as well. Wine list was great. Service was...so friendly and the staff speak decent English. The vibe is very cool and relaxed, with an amazing courtyard and seating indoors as well. We were overall just so impressed with this place - it wouldn’t feel out of place in Soho, London, and it was some of the best food weve had in during our 2 week trip in Argentina. Don’t miss out!More
