We were lucky to arrive before the crowd and got served quite fast and attentively, though the breakfast was quite average. The coffee was watery. The “cappuccino” is more like a Viennese coffee, with whipped cream and a piece of chocolate melted in the bottom....If that’s what you’re after, it is very tasty. When we were done, we had to pay in the bakery and that was confusing - the waitress was overwhelmed, the bakery staff didn’t know the prices of the dishes we’d had and other customers were rudely trying to push ahead in the queue (not to be blamed on the cafe).More

Maybe it's because I sat at a dirty table of 2 instead of a clean table of 4 for just me but I was ignored for quite some time until I caught the attention of the male making most of the coffees. He cleared the...table but I then had to wipe it with a serviette. The waitress who delivered the order then use the serviette to relocate the crumbs onto the floor and took the serviette away. Coffee and medialunas were fine but the service appeared fine towards some customers and just not interested in others. Having been to El Chalten before, this seems to be a popular stop for those heading to the bus terminal but there are a few new places that have popped up in the past year that are on the way to the terminal and they look at tad more inviting, so wished I tried one of those instead.More
