I went trekking with some awesome guys, whose rock climbing guide suggested this place. I think I paid about $80 for 3 of us, which included a good bottle of wine, 3 good plates, and 2 desserts. The service was great. The food was great. And, I paid less than 1/2 what I would have in the States for the... More

We enjoyed a dinner at La Estepa. I had a salad with apples, kiwis and a delicious homemade sauce and a tenderloin with malbec sauce, carrot purée and potatoes au gratin. Everything was very tasty and carefully arranged. We would have returned to this great restaurant, but unfortunately we had to continue our trip the next morning....

Even the house red is delicious and cheap! Had dinner here after an 11 mile hike and left feeling full and happy.

We really wanted to enjoy this place. It has a great setting, a small wine store for sales off premises, and a good and fairly priced wine selection for your dinner. It wasn't very busy and yet getting service was a chore. I guess you really have to put yourself in the frame of mind of being in Argentina, a... More

By the time we'd eaten here, we'd had Argentinian lamb at any number of places, but this one really stood out. They are quietly confident of the cooking, and can therefore afford a location off the main strip. Attentive service and great wines.

Very enjoyable meal - the lasagne was a generous portion and delicious. In fact the best I've ever had in a restaurant and better than my own home-cooked one! It includes ham and asparagus and was a nice change from the usual meat and tomato variety. Service was good and friendly too.

We came in at 7pm and were surprised to have no wait to be seated (as reservations are usually recommended). Service was good, although I think the fact that we picked out a "cheaper wine" for less than 300 pesos made our server suggest a lamb dinner for 2 rather than the one entree, salad and a lamb entree with... We were a party of four and decided to have dinner at this restaurant mainly because it was late and all the others were crowded. I cannot say the food was bad, but it wasn't great, either. The onion soup I had was thin, nothing special, and could fit a thimble, so small the portion was. A little later I... More
