Microbrewery? In El Chalten? It was a great place to rest after a long day of hiking and the beer selection was good. Cannot understand complaints about gluten-free menu and the price of Jack Daniels - come on, your in the middle of nowhere. Appreciate what they DO have and enjoy.

Went for a starter and a main which was a good amount of food. Tasty and the service was quick and friendly. Would recommend.

This review is for both La Tapera and La Cerveceria - we really could not pick one of them as our top choice. It was refreshing to find two top notch restaurants in a frontier town like El Chaltén, where many establishments seem to be in the early stages of learning the basics of running a fine eatery. The ambiance... More

They only had one dish available off the gluten free menu- stuffed squash. It was goo but not really a dinner. My boyfriend didnt like his pizza- soft base and very little tomato sauce. The exchange rate for the dollar was 13 (most other places are 14). Also dont order jack daniels and coca cola( three ended up being $35usd)

After a long day hiking there is nothing better than a hearty meal and so i sat down to tuck into a bowl of traditional lamb stew which was very nice ,not exceptional, but tasty with a brew of local ale

By far the friendliest welcome we had in El Chaltén. The restaurant was always full with a fantastic atmosphere, the food was reasonably priced but good, the beer was cheap - all in all my favourite place to relax after a hike in El Chaltén. The location was also excellent, being on the way back into town from the Fitz... More

Great fresh ceviche and fish at a very inexpensive price. A lively place with great service. Make sure you add this place to you must eat list.

After we walked all day we headed in here. I really can't understand why it's so highly rated. The food tasted okay. The service was fine. The price in relation to the size of portion though was all wrong. We didn't bother going again. To leave hungry once was enough.

Ate here at least three times in the span of a week in El Cheltan! The friendliest staff, and really great food. It's an absolutely charming place. Wasn't blown away by the beer, but the Malbec was top notch... We were there in March (i.e. not high season) and we still had to wait a few minutes for our tables.... More
