Visited willing to have dinner... Hostesses advised about tables availability (contradicting each other)... Ended up saying they could not have us... Still the place was full of free tables... Left the restaurant disappointed... 1h lather we passed by again and several tables were still empty... Nope, we were not dressed as homeless people... Nope, we were not asking for free... More

After a day out enjoying a trek to see the glacier, we were looking for a nice drink and some food. Open all hours La Cerveceria was the right place to go. They brew their own. A pale ale and a Bloch which is german style light dark ale. Recommend both depending on your mood and taste. We also enjoyed... More

We were a party of 3. As the name suggests they serve mostly beers, we all had the rubia beer which was OK, nothing special. However, the owner is a young funny guy who entertained us with his friends at the end of the night!

this is a great place! el chalten is an expensive place and at a lot of places you pay a lot and dont get that much! this is not the case here! the beer and wine is reasonable priced! they have a huge diversity of both wine and beer too! and they have some great snacks!

I had a great meal here - the veggie pizza is amazing!! Really nice atmosphere and good service. Would really recommend if you're staying in El Chalten.

Cozy little bar/restaurant with local beers. Nice pastas. Overall, reasonably priced given the usual high prices in this remote town. However, price for a bottle of sparkling water was a little ridiculous -- almost USD 7 -- similar to the price for a glass of wine in a town. I chalked it up to logistics costs in transporting the water... More

Went here on the recommendation of our guide who thought it was the best soup in town - he was definitely right! Didn't expect it to be as filling as it was, but definitely a home run after a long day of hiking. Paired with one of the local beers - perfecto!

After hiking, all you want is a hot drink (or a cold beer) and some decent food. This place fits that bill to a T. With an amazing inviting atmosphere, great coffee and hot chocolate, fantastic pie (I would recommend the apple but the lemon also looked great) and delicious empanadas, it can't be beat. Sometimes empanadas get heavy and... More

We arrived during a shower hence the beer garden was not an option. Soup sounded a good idea to warm us up being mid afternoon, we were presented with popcorn and enjoyed it while we waited. In a few minutes two very small bowls of soup arrived. We had had some and soon came the decision that we needed to... More

What more to ask! Very good value for money. Lovely service, great food (we had the locro) and wine. Place is small and only takes group bookings. If you're few be prepared to go early or wait 30 mns or so.

Thank Anais L
