My trekking guide suggested this place. Cosy. Friendly service. Great beers (being Belgian I am difficult when it comes to beer). Very nice food too. Will be going again in the next few days!

This is the best place in El Chaltén. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, service was casual but attentive, and the food was delicious and plentiful. And excellent in house beer as a bonus. The locro was delicious and filling after a day of hiking...and my wife had the stuffed Calabasas and loved it. Reservations needed in high season.More

The food was excellent and the portions good sized. The seats were uncomfortable but not a big issue. The beer was excellent that they brew. The pasta I had was wonderful as well as the gluten free lasagna which was a huge piece. My wife...had to share with others. The staff were so friendly I would love to eat there again sometime and try the other dishes.More

Our favourite place in El Chalten. We went a few times and the service is very friendly, it’s a lovely atmosphere, the drinks (particularly the home brewed beer) and food is good, everything we were looking for. Definitely worth going to and to eat lots...of popcorn!More

Visited this amazing little spot on a whim with friends, and despite it being after 8.30pm and pretty busy, they managed to find us a table for four with no fuss or problems. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, constantly excusing our poor attempts...to order in Spanish! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome, something tourists don't often feel in El Chalten. The food was impeccable, and the portions were HUGE. Our friends ordered the salad, which was easily the biggest I have ever seen and looked amazing. The pizzas we ordered were fresh and tasty, and they even had gluten-free pizza, pastas, and dishes... something I've rarely encountered in South America. The wine and beer choices were also really good, and even the house malbec was delicious! The brownie I ordered to take away for dessert was absolutely humongous (and very very good!) I though this place was very reasonably priced given the menu options and the portion sizes. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place as one of the top spots to eat in El Chalten.More

el Chaltén is basically a backpacker-climber town, so the bar for restaurants is set a little lower here. Beers were average. Food quality was average to very good. We liked the Locro (a hearty stew) the best. Relaxed vibe especially if you can sit outside...on a sunny afternoon. Recommended.More

My wife and I ate here three times during our 3 day stay in El Chalten. The food is absolutely delicious and very healthy -- wide variety as well. The service is even better than the food; very, very nice people work at the restaurant....They take good care of their customers. The beer is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!More

We popped in for lunch on our way back from walking to Fitz Roy. Sitting in the garden, glass of wine in the sunshine along with delicious food. There were a couple of things off the menu , which wasn’t a problem. Really friendly staff,...definitely call inMore

Fresh from a hike, had a good beer and free popcorn! Had a quick bite and then came back for a delicious dinner the next night. Small, warm and friendly. Would highly recommend it!
