A very nice place to have lunch or dinner. A large terrace overlook the river and it is where we had lunch. Good and fast service, good food using local products, and the price we paid is very fair. If going back to Baie-Saint-Paul someday, I would return to Le Mouton noir with no hesitation.

Good wine list but not wines available. Pleasant food but not memorable. Noisy. Nice range of local cheeses. Not many vegetarian options.

Stopped at this cute Resto overlooking the river for a quick bite and beer. Beer was micro brewed and delicious. Ambience was great but the service we received was poor. Glad the beer was refreshing as this place could be fantastic if a little more attention to detail was had..

The manager seemed very nice but the servers killed the evening. The food was good but the service was distressingly slow. We nibbled on bread and wine do long that our appetites were ruined before the mains came (almost two hours after we were seated. Four times the server gave my wife bread or bread products after telling the resto... More

Hotel had suggested this as a place for a nice dinner, but we were running our of nights so went for a nice lunch. Seated right away on the terrace next to the river. Had nice choices on the small menu, and loved my food. Would have tried their dessert but was filled from my lunch. Really tasty

Go there for Dinner. We had a great dining experience, food and service were excelent. Gazpatcho was great, vibrant and well balanced, You can choose Table d'hôte style to get many things - the portions are very generous. Pork chop with spinach and mushroom gratin is a good choise, juicy and delicious. Would dine there again!

Nice view by the river. The terrence was packed and we were not able to get a "river seat". Food was pretty good overall. Nice stopover lunch spot in a nice town.

The food is absolutely excellent. Every single morsel, every single sip. My husband and sister and I all had different items from the menu, and everyone was delighted! Best carrot cake, ever! For meals, you must reserve the terrace with river view in advance. Excellent value.

We had a wonderful meal on their back terasse. Our waitress was confident and knowledgeable. The salmon tartare and lamb hamburgers were great, the french fries to die for, the gazpacho so wonderful! To finish off, a nice light crème brûlée!! Can't wait to go back for supper:))

The staff were so friendly I feel bad, but you need to know that the food here is terrible. I started with onion tart which was a soggy circle of pastry with a smattering of onion buried under a green salad with a few bite size chunks of boudin sausage. This was followed by the fish of the day which... More
