We stopped at L'Orange whilst exploring Baie St. Paul and had a great meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the menu had plenty of options and the food was very good.

Try the mussels, they melt in your mouth! The smoked salmon salad was also delicious. Service was attentive & they have 2 locals beers to enjoy. The setting is cozy but not cramped. Loved it so much we went there twice!

The food is excellent and offers a variety of what Charlevoix has to offer from local beer, cheese and whatever you can think of. The "ambiance" is good and the restaurant is very well located in the center of Baie St-Paul. A sure win.

The plus side is an excellent location and for a beer on the terrasse. The menu is simple but with speciality and local products. The negative side : I think it's a bit costly for what you get. The service is basic, no more

the service and food was excellant. Loved the terrasse, Nicely situated . They turned on the terrace heaters when the evening got chilly, this was nice as this made us stay longer and enjoy our coffee and dessert

As lovely as Baie-St-Paul is, its restaurants generally don't appear to be of a high standard, and that was certainly our experience here where we had by far the worst meal of our 3-week trip to Canada. My pizza consisted of 2 square cardboard-like bases (cardboard would have tasted better) with an awful tomato sauce that I suspect was bottled,... More

Prominently situated on one of downtown Baie-St-Paul's two main streets, l'Orange has bustling terrace in front so close to the sidewalk that we could to savor the scent of a diner's moules marinière. Seduced, we were led straight to a terrace table and were served our sauvignon blanc within a minute or two. We examined a menu as varied as... More

Main courses are very good. Calamari is unique. Gaspacho is very refreshing and gravlox was tasty. I wouldn't rave about the deserts however. The service is quick and friendly however. The terasse is quite crowded and not very intimate.

We spent 4 nights with our teenage kids in Baie-St-Paul and had dinner here twice. What we tried and liked: beef tartar, pork ribs, poutine au Migneron.
