The four of us were looking for a lunch spot and after checking out menus from different establishments, we chose L'Orange and we made the right decision! We tried their poutine and became addicted to this dish! So absolutely delicious! The fries were crisp, the gravy, cheese and mushrooms were perfect! We all had the Caeser Salads which were fresh... This is an okay place. What it has going for it is that it is in Baie St Paul, near the center of little town, but at the end of strip of restaurants. It was quieter than other places along this road. We found the service fine but a little strange in that the server pointed out to us that... More

My wife and I decided to go to Baie St-Paul for lunch and we ended up stopping at L'Orange Bistro, 29 Ambroise Fafard. You can't miss it: it's across the street from the church. There's free parking nearby. We had decided to have lunch outside but the wind was so strong that we headed inside and were seated in a... More

We stopped here by chance and we were impressed. Food was excellent, the fish fillet very tasty and the steak perfectly cooked and juicy. Good wine list and decorations recalling old house from beginning of 20th century. It was close to Halloween and they had beautiful and original decors in the entrance. I will go back!

Stopped for lunch and I was a little disappointed. Nothing was 'wrong' or 'bad', but both our meals were somewhat uninspired. My fries were both stale and cold. Salad dressing tasted like it was bottled. The hamburger had that 'fridge' taste and my toasted bun was really over-toasted. Presentation was nice. The restaurant itself was cute, but could use a... We stopped at L'Orange whilst exploring Baie St. Paul and had a great meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the menu had plenty of options and the food was very good.

Try the mussels, they melt in your mouth! The smoked salmon salad was also delicious. Service was attentive & they have 2 locals beers to enjoy. The setting is cozy but not cramped. Loved it so much we went there twice!

The food is excellent and offers a variety of what Charlevoix has to offer from local beer, cheese and whatever you can think of. The "ambiance" is good and the restaurant is very well located in the center of Baie St-Paul. A sure win.

Stopped by to explore Baie St. Paul while traveling from Tadoussac to Quebec and dropped in for a late breakfast. We opted for coffee and dessert since our timing was off. Our preference - since the restaurant would clearly have accommodated either breakfast or lunch. Our coffees varied from espresso and cappuccinos to a regular cup. All passed muster. The... More
