At one time this was our favourite restaurant in the Windsor area, but somehow over the past few years the food and the service have begun to waiver. If the restaurant isn't busy then generally both the food and service are fine, but if you throw in more than a few tables both decrease in their quality greatly.

I was disappointed to discover the more formal dining I thought I remembered from a few years ago was no longer the case. The food was good but not great. The service was good. It was still a nice evening out but not the fine dining experience I was hoping for.

The menu is a bit strange as they have sought to define themselves as both a pub style eatery and a higher end restaurant over the years. The current menu duplicates a lot of items between two styles of presentation -- first pub then resto, but the prices are the same and the service is consistently excellent, attentive and professional.... I love this brightly colored bistro with its gardens and charm. The food is good quality. I had chicken Parmesan. It was delicious. There pasta is always good properly. My husband had steak, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Fresh local beef. I would recommend the grilled sourdough bread with balsamic and black olives as a starter. Divine! Great service. Great quality,... More

Visited this property tonight while entertaining an out-of-town in-law. Lacking all the "standard" amenities...had to request a glass of water...twice. No bread served to our table, though we observed others being served as would be expected. Ordered the strip loin medium rare only to have it served well well well done. To their credit, they did accommodate our party of... More

The dinner was high-end inn quality. The pulled pork egg rolls and homemade bbq sauce were delicious. We also ordered the starter/main/dessert package- soup was fantastic, the haddock portions were large and the creme caramel was delectable. I had the opportunity to meet the chef Andrew. This man is talented.

We joined friends for dinner on Tuesday night and had the "all you can eat" fish and chips. It was delicious and one serving was plenty!

Although we don't often visit, it is not because the service isn't great and the food excellent, they always are. Tuesday night's off season may be as much as you can eat Fish and Chips and this is great. The fish is cooked nicely and the chips throw the diet out of the window. One touch we liked was after...
