We've eaten at the Spitfire several Sundays now and have yet to eat anything we wouldn't recommend. They have a good selection of appetizers/starters, sized to share. Big selection of draft beers and ciders as well as mixed drinks. There is a summer menu and a Sunday Brunch menu as well. I've personally eaten the Liver and Onions, Reuben Sandwich,... More

We stopped in on our way out of Halifax, and had a wonderful meal of Fish and Chips, along with a tasty Rueben Sandwich. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient, and the speed of service was very quick. I will return

Been to the Spitfire many times, never disappoints! Curry on chips is my favourite, burgers are great and my wife loves the maple salmon salad. Awesome entertainment as well.

Came here whilst staying in Windsor. Food was ok, bt nothing over special. Portion size were small compared to most places we had eaten in Canada. We had the special of the seafood platter and the fish cakes with salad. Although portion size were smaller than met places, it was cheap to eat there. We ate outside on the deck,... More

Was advised that this pub had good fish and chips. Being from Newfoundland ,I was cautious- we are very picky about our fish and chips. However I was pleasantly surprise- the batter was light and crispy. I would highly recommend it but beware- I ordered one piece and was glad I did because the piece was huge.

Outside deck a good setting. Service very good. Nachos tasty but bit soggy. Reuben not good. Bread soggy and smoked meat rubbery. Veg soup but greasy. Haddock ok

My husband and I decided to have lunch here. Wings were 10.00 for 10 and we had a quesadilla that was 10.00 but you could add chicken for 3.99. When we received it ,it was a small Flatbread folded over cut in 3. Smallest I have ever had. Chicken was probably no more then a tablespoon. We each had a... More

Food and the service were great. We went there twice in a three day visit. Beer selection was excellent as expected. Staff though busy were efficient and charming.

We stopped here for dinner and chose to sit out on the patio. It was a lovely evening, and the beer was local and good, and the food was excellent. We ordered the pan-fried halibut and the daily special of Salmon Wellington. the halibut was delicious. The salmon was a bit over done, but with the sauce was still delicious.... More

The most pours on tap in the area. Great mix of local microbrews and classics. Wonderful British pub ambiance. Good menu well executed and friendly staff. Winner all around.
