In Welsh tradition, you order your drinks and then choose a place to sit. It was a beautiful evening so we sat at a table outside by the river and bridge. As the evening fell it became cooler so we moved to a table inside and ordered dinner which was brought to our table. My lamb shanks were delicious and... More

Having seen a lovely painting of this Inn (showing it next to the river) we decided to go there for a meal. The pub garden next to the river looks lovely but we went into the restaurant to eat. I really liked the traditional interior of the Inn. Unfortunately, my initial enthusiasm soon disappeared when we had to wait a... More

We came here last Saturday evening for a family gathering. Food was Gorgeously delicious - everyone in our party was satisfied with their food. We would defiantly return!

Too late for lunch too early for diner but choice of sandwiches and pasties available outside these hours which suited us fine.

Called here on a lunch time the place was fairly quiet. Waited an hour for food to arrive but no explanation for the delay. I had the llangynidir chicken which was mediocre /tasteless sauce non existent. My husband had the steak and ale pie which was dry and tasteless which he couldn't eat. The chips were ok though. asked the... More

Called in for dinner whilst touring Wales and we were served a fabulous meal by helpful and friendly staff. REAL food - not the usual 'pub grub' in lovely relaxed surroundings. The only problem is choosing what to eat from the extensive menu and wine list! Excellent value for the quality of food and drink provided.

Returned to the Bridge End Inn whilst staying at the caravan site round the corner. Still a lovely pub with welcoming staff. Had a great meal in the restaurant- pork with a flavoursome cheese sauce and fresh veggies. Good quality food and wine. Take time to read all the funny quotes around the pub 😁

Lovely Sunday lunch with a nice cosy atmosphere. Lots of alternative meal options if someone isn't a fan of a roast dinner. My husband had the lasagne and really enjoyed ! Staff were friendly and we would definitely return again. Thank You

First things first: the food is wonderful. Whether you order the river trout or the Welsh lamb, you are guaranteed very fresh food cooked to order. The sauces are delicious and the vegetables are literally perfect - crunchy, tasty and in the case of the cauliflower and broccoli cheese made with a lot of butter, cheese and cream! Just say... We walked here from Llangattock where we were moored. We had a meat pie each, and it was flavorful and hearty with real substantial chunks of beef. Nice atmosphere in a pub as old as 1604. The service was wonderful and engaging in general conversation. If we needed a place to stay in the area, if the food is any... More
