Chanced upon this cafe hidden down a side street in Cardigan, the menu boards outside appeared to have something to suit everyone so we went in and after some deliberation ordered some food. The daily special pies priced at £4.95 were an absolute bargain and it was lovely to have freshly made mash potato! One of the party ordered the... More

Booked a table for a family birthday meal. Food was fantastic and so much of it. I am a coeliac and they cooked my gluten free food separately. Staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

We went here for a meal on our last night away- 2 adults, 5 & 3 year olds. We were seated upstairs and were the only ones in the place. We ordered drinks but as we were looking through the menu we noticed that underneath the glass topped table there was a huge amount of food crumbs and general dirt.... More

Went there for a 70th birthday Meal. Really good and very reasonable for the amount of Food and Portion Size. Will definitely go again and will take some friends with us. Many Thanks

We decided at the last minute to go in for a meal, despite having to book there was a table available. There was a slight wait as Birthday meals were taking place. The food was amazing! You could tell that the chef took great care in presentation and taste of his food. Fabulous .Good homely comforting food. Just having a main... More

Bit of a wait but you don't mind when you know it's all cooked fresh. Welsh breakfast lovely, thick bacon and crispy, great portions!

We called in to the Priory one afternoon when visiting Cardigan. There were a lot of people in so thought it must be ok. Downstairs was full so we sat upstairs. Not the cleanest or best decorated surroundings but the food when it arrived was tasty and plentiful. We had the all day breakfast and couldn't finish it as there... More

Sunday night in Cardigan, very hungry, tried a local pub but they were not serving food that night due to a full booking. So we took a stroll through this lovely town, down past the castle and turned down Priory Street and just down on the right was Priory Cafe & Restaurant, looked good, menu looked just as good, in... This cafe looked promising from the outside but we were thoroughly disappointed with the food and service. We had to wait over half an hour for the food to arrive and it wasn't even that busy. When it came, the chips looked like yesterday's refried, the fish was obviously straight out of the freezer and the chef's special burgers were... More
