Lovely food and highly recommend hot chocolate and the banana split (presented as a tall ship which was a nice touch), also a warm welcome and relaxed feel to the place

Great view of seals playing in the harbour but the chicken roast was dry and the veg option was inedible. Nice coffee and awesome Cullen Skink, though! Excellent and not so in equal measure. Smarties with the bill a lovely touch 😃😊

We stayed here most of the day while waiting for the ferry to Isle of Lewis. As it is winter they don't seem to mind. Friendly staff, good food. Excellent coffee which is saying something as many English places don't have good coffee! Has good wifi

Popped in here after a walk around Ullapool on our stay here for 2 nights. Had a strong latte and a very chocolately drink with cream and mallows both were very good. Also enjoyed a date slice which was very enjoyable . All the cakes looked delicious and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Nice little place for coffee... More

Came across this little gem rather late in the day and could only manage a cuppa. The staff were friendly and not at all upset I only wanted a cup of tea! Food looked looked good, pity I did not have more time. The cafe is unusual in as much that it caters well for young and old. A snooker... More

Visited here today after a long drive up to Ullapool, very friendly staff as soon as we walked in. The most beautiful bacon, Brie and cranberry baguette on a sour dough bread ( amazing ) followed by some cakes. Lovely service, cosy atmosphere and I am looking forward to booking in this week for an evening meal!

Went for a meal with someone very special and was not disappointed. We had Lloch Broom langustine as a main course and they were superb, followed by a lovely cheeseboard. All in all a brilliant evening with excellent service and a very nice ambience.

Got of the ferry looking for some breakfast. Most places we went to were residents only. One hotel told us to try the Frigate, breakfast until 12pm. It was great. Great staff, food wonderful. Large portions and great tea. The only thing missing was toast with the big breakfast. Fantastic place for our family to eat.
