Warm welcome, live fire, excellent local food and good beer. Do you need more? Well there is also a view of the sea and hills.

We didn't even eat here but this pub caused some interesting debate between my wife and I!! Stayed in Ullapool (which we loved) whilst on an NC500 adventure. Arrived from Durness late afternoon and dropped into this harbour front old pub for a quick drink. I was delighted to find Brewdog on draft ( the only pub we found en... More

Popped in a for a drink while staying in Ullapool. Great atmosphere and really good live music. A 'Johnny Cash Duo' (with only Johnny) who was surprisingly good. The Ferry Boat Inn has hardly changed since I was first there in the 1970s. We didn't eat but the food looked yummy.

I'm afraid the FBI is not a patch on its former self. Ever since the snug was knocked in to the main bar it has lost a lot of its appeal as a drinking location.

Basic and simple, but ok. Modest menu if you're non seafood, but if you like the sea, wow you'll have a ball. Nice fresh salad with the toasties. Friendly staff and free wifi. Decent range of drinks and easy parking outside.

Range of specials on the chalk board & a range of small tables along the window wall overlooking the harbour. The waitress / barkeeper was friendly and efficient. There was a small tray of home-baked cakes on the corner of the bar. The food was tasty and served in a timely fashion. My one quibble was that the toilet cubicles... More

We dropped into FBI to grab a pint and a wine after having dinner elsewhere. It was warm and cheap. The staff was great and we had a good time.

we ate 3 evenings in a row and were not at all disappointed. We treated ourselves to local oysters and langoustine - yummy.

Dined with two friends who have previously eaten here and loved the food. I had Cullen Skink for starters and seabass for mains and it was devine. I've never had skink before but it is now a seafood favourite. It was quite busy in the restaurant so book to avoid disappointment. Very reasonably priced for high quality food. Situated by... More

There was 4 of us.Things started going wrong immediately with the scruffy, ignorant and arrogant barman..We were ready to walk away by the time we went through to the dining room. The time we waited was unacceptable but worse was to come. When the main arrived it was inedible. The burger and chips is over £13.It was a frozen very thin burger with some...
