A real find! We went on the recommendation of the b and b owner. Very friendly greeting right from the start. Pleasant, airy, nicely lit, several families with children. It's associated with a small brewery, Tempest, and the beers are excellent. Served in 1/3, 1/2 , 2/3 and pint so I tried to go through the card! Really nice, fresh... More

Not the easiest to please, two veggies and two carnivores, but The Cobbles pulled it off so well, we returned two days later! Plenty of veggie options, but more importantly, every dish was tasty and fresh. My son and I were less adventurous and had perfectly cooked steaks, Rib Eye and Sirloin, with thick hand cut chips and cracking sauces.... More

We were staying at The Town House B and B and Christine the owner recommended The Cobbles to us.My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the seafood ravioli and trio of ice cream both utterly delicious. Hubby had the fish special and a mouth watering rhubarb and ginger dessert. Lovely quaint place, relaxing atmosphere. Friendly, attentive staff.... More

Lovely home made food. The lamb nuggets and mint sauce were to die for. Lovely staff, very professional. Very relaxing atmosphere. Just a pity we didn't have room for pudding!! Definitely will come again and get some beer takeaway!

Love the ambience this place creates. 1st time I had eaten here, attracted by the special early evening prices, great meal, though will probably try something else off the menu next time. Good to know another faithful beer & foodie establishment to choose from in Kelso.

Been meaning to come here for a while. First impressions small, warm and friendly. Beer excellent but the food was the big surprise. I judge most pubs /restaurants by their Cullen Skink this was by some margin the best I have ever had, smoky soup not too creamy, loads of smokey haddock baked charred tatties and the star ingredient celery,...
