Another traveller recommended us this place and I’m very happy we listened to her. We had a very good dinner here. Good price, even better food. Oh and did I mention the sights? This place is located at the foot of some impressive mountain scenery. The proximity to Glencoe (one of Scotland’s “capitals” of hiking) also means that you can... More

Was OK, interesting concept of food ordering in a pub, food was cooked fine and large portions, quiet expensive.

Stopped here for a meal and was not disappointed. Great food and lovely view while sitting outside having a drink.

A very warm welcome awaits visitors (unless the surname is Campbell). The decor reflects the high interest in mountaineering and ice picks surround the restaurant. Some great mountaineering photographs are displayed. The beer / cider selection is wide and the food menu is great. (Look for the specials on the blackboard). The chefs are happy to use pepper and other... More

The Clachaig has an amazing location. Nestled deep in the Glen with yummy food and drink all reasonably priced. Don't miss it!

Stayed for one night only. Of course the drive to Glencoe is just astonishing. Beautiful views are everywhere so by the time one gets to the Clahaig Inn, ones supply of adequate superlatives has been exhausted. Anyway to the review. Average room, average bed, rather good bathroom, restaurant is busy and the food ok, but the staff are rather uncoordinated.... More

Great view of the Glencoe Glens. We stopped for drinks and to get information about where to go. The bartender was very accommodating when asked about the area. He brought us a map and took time to tell us what the area had to offer. Although we didn't eat the food being taken to the tables looked delicious. It was... More

We visited as we were camping at Red Squirrel, a 10 minute walk away. The location is fantastic. You order your food at the bar on a pay as you go basis. Our food came within 5 minutes of ordering which was worrying. Kids haggis came with a gravy poured all over it which wasn't expected but this was exchanged... More

Stopped off here for a meal whilst driving from Mallaig to Loch Lomond. Great setting, plenty parking, good choice of local beers, massive selection of whisky, nice food, veggy haggis was a hit and I enjoyed the cajun salmon. Friendly staff and dog friendly.

Famous pub with lots of interesting photos of Scottish mountaineering in Glencoe. It has been modernised to a high standard and has a light interior. Good range of ales on offer and the food was very tasty (we had vegetarian Haggis). The negative is the price of both the beer and the food - pretty in line with expensive south... More
