Purchased a National Trust membership and they recommended that we just "follow our nose" to find the bakery. We were mid-afternoon bug they still had a good assortment.

Purchased granary cob loaf & 2 cheese scones. Exquisite texture and taste. Colour of scones was golden due to butter & eggs no nasty after taste as in shop bought scones with baking powder

We sat in the front of the bakery and ate Cornish pasties and drank tea. Very friendly staff and food was good. It was a very busy place on a warm sunny day....only seating inside for six people...more of a take away to eat..

You just can't visit Lacock without popping in here! The ladies who were on duty on our visit were very friendly and helpful. The array of baked goods is mouth wateringly tempting, and if you are returning home, or self catering you ought to stock up, all the cakes looked delicious and the sausage rolls were lovely!

Stopped here while attending the Scarecrow Festival this year. A excellent selection of snacks available inside. It was busy but the line moved fast. Both the bread and the carrot cake purchased were delicious. Staff was polite and helpful. An excellent bakery!

A very nice place to enjoy a scone and a hot chocolate while wandering the beautiful streets of Lacock. It has such a wonderful feel about it an an old wooden table to eat at.
