My husband and I are forever trying new places for Sunday lunch around the Corsham area. In late January we tried the Sign of the Angel. On walks past it, I had loved the look of the old building, and the items on the menu...More

The village of Lacock is described as quaint. It is used extensively for filming period dramas, and is well preserved, neat and old fashioned. There are no aerials and a lot of the paint is the same pale green colour that Alan Bennett remembers was...More

Went for a very pleasant lunch there. Food good, service excellent. The building is lovely, and like Lacock as a whole, its like travelling back in time. Prices are a little high.

Lovely food, lovely staff and our favourite place to eat in our area. Building comfortable and picturesque in this quaint village, go upstairs to see the attractively panelled residents lounge which is comfortable and charming and dates around 15th century.

The staff are all wonderful. I feel certain the chef will fix her a vegan meal. My suggestion to you would be to send them an email to let them know so the chef has a chance to make arrangements. Hope this helps! The place... More

Hi, We just have bedrooms in the main building. The cottages over the stream are owned but someone else. I'm not sure if they are still B&B rooms. Please let me know if I can help any further. Best Wishes, Tom

Our menus are created from fresh, seasonal ingredients in order to serve great tasting dishes from honest foods. We source our produce from local suppliers here in the West Country to ensure that the food process is traceable, and from sustainable farmers, growers and butchers. Our list of drinks are carefully selected brands, while offering some familiar favourites we also present some fantastic artisan refreshments. Our wines are picked to compliment our menu and offer great value.
