We had a good 8 mile walk at Craven Arms and decided to stop off by the camping/biking centre (Blazing Saddles) which shares the same car park. We had a drink and a sandwich - well what a sandwich, big crusty bread, salad and some chips. I had the brie and cranberry - awesomely tasty and keep me going through... More

I have been visiting the Station Inn, in Marshbrook, for the good part of 15 years (whenever staying with my Aunty Val; local legend) and every time has been a combination of warm welcomes, great ales and delicious foods. The Inn itself has gone through many changes over the years, renovations etc, but always has the fire going with a... More

Dropped in for tea because the boys were staying in one of the fabulous camping pods also on the site. The setting is very modern and new. The menu on first glance didn't look too extensive but I have to say we had soup with masses of warm bread, calamari and chicken pieces for starters and burgers, salad and steak... More

Visited on Friday for their Butchers night/steak night. Great fun choosing your own size of steak from a huge slab of beautiful beef. Different cuts such as sirloin, rump etc but we both chose the flat iron which was melt in your mouth delicious. Cooked to perfection by Richard the landlord on a grill in the restaurant so you can... More

I had the 16 oz rump steak and side trimmings, not normally on the lunchtime menu but made available. I've been in butchery and interested in butchery and cooking all my life. That steak rated as probably the 'best' I have ever eaten. As a retired policeman if I as going to turn to a life of crime I'd be... More

Had a short stay in the pods next door. The staff at the Station Inn were very welcoming & dog friendly, so my Old English Sheepdog Bob made lots of new friends. Initially the menu appears to be standard pub fare, but when the food arrives at the table you are transported to restaurant +. The food is excellent, well... More
