A Warren of cozy and quirky rooms unraveling onto the pretty courtyard garden. Yummy food served by very helpful and friendly staff. Hoping to revisit, real soon!!

Afternoon coffee and cakes for four was just fabulous. We sat in the beautiful courtyard outside with the fountain, flowers and sunshine. The girl who served us was just lovely. Cakes were homemade and yummy. Fresh coffee, good choice of teas and one of us had the Spanish hot chocolate which was so thick was almost like chocolate sauce and... More

Happened upon this small coffee house off a side street, a little bit cramped in seating area but excellent service in a quirky setting

We needed a quick breakfast before our journey home, it was a very nice breakfast but we had to wait a long time for it. The staff were very polite and apologetic. They may not have been used to the size of our group.

With respect, however, we did advise you when you arrived that there would be a delay as another large group had come in just a few minutes earlier, and you said that would be no problem; we also offered you extra drinks while you were waiting. Having already had breakfast we called in for coffee because of the recommendations on Trip Advisor. The coffee was good, the staff freindly and the atmosphere quirky. We loved it.

We only stopped in for afternoon tea after a lovely walk on the Long Mynd, the coffee cake was to die for. We can't wait to return with our relatives who will be visiting from the USA later this year, as it is so very British and how things used to be, excellent, friendly service, reasonably priced and very good... Enjoyed the interesting lay out and quaint rooms. Ate in the courtyard, enjoyed reading about the history of the building and also the list of where produce was sourced. Coffee was ok, cheese scone was gorgeous - light, fluffy, very cheesy with loads of butter. Somewhat off putting that every time the sink was emptied there was a strong unpleasant... More
