As the title says really. The food was sensational and me and my family would recommend this place to anyone passing through Alnmouth.

Enjoyed food we had but struggled with some options because I’m a picky eater but when I did chose a pizza it was really tasty

Thank you for your review - we look forward to your next visit. All of our menu is cooked fresh to order so we are very flexible and can remove / add ingredients to suit individual tastes.

Food is excellent. The best potato skins we have had. Pizzas were lovely too. Only negative was cost of a small bottle of Prosecco. £8.95 was really excessive when a lot of places places will do a glass for under £5. Maybe try a cheaper...More

Thank you for your review. Our small bottle of prosecco is lightly more due to its quality as well as it being more than 1 glass. You get just shy of 2 glasses of normal serving out of the small bottle.

Went for a meal there tonight. Didn’t realise it was part of the pub next door. Asked for a table for two. Shown to a table close to the door. One chair was already touching a chair of the table next to it, before anyone...More

As per my last response it is not our policy to sit a table of 2 on a table set for 4. We may have been quite when you arrived but I assure you we were fully booked 30 minutes after you walked out after...More

A great and reliable option. High quality cooking with modest portion sizes leaving you satisfied. Pleasant staff and good service. Pizzas and pasta very tasty!

Visited twice during a week long stay. Lovely place with decent beer and really good food (the Calzone with recommended bolognese sauce and entirely unnecessary but well cooked chips was brilliant) but service was just slightly haphazard - the first night we were charged on...More

Food ok waited for nearly a hour. Tables seems squashed together. For the quality of the food and the portions the food is very overpriced. It is probably as there is no competition in the village .More

Thank you for your review - I am disappointed you found our quality and portion size was not to your standard nor the value of the dish. I am personally proud of our quality of locally sourced produce and homemade dishes, as well as the...More

We couldn't fault the food, service, prices, or the enjoyable candlelit restaurant ambience. It was warm and comfortable too. It was all very pleasant indeed. Sadly, however, the McPherson's Shiraz wine was very disappointing, but not bad enough to complain about. I've always had much...More

Thank you for your review, I am pleased to read you enjoyed all but the wine - yet shocked at the last part. We stock most of the McPhersons range and I personally have found their wines to be beautiful as do many of our...More

A friendly place serving very decent Italian style food. We were welcomed into a cosy environment and looked after by attentive, friendly staff.
