Great place for lunch. Plenty of choice, great food and very friendly staff. Never had a bad meal here.

This pub is just behind the historic parish church so is well placed. We popped in for a pint and a quick lunch. It was a good choice and we enjoyed both the beer and the food.
I came here with friends for a get-together over a pub meal. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food enjoyable (I had fish and chips: very nice) and the real ale also pretty good! There is a nice, comfortable atmosphere.
Went in on Saturday the 15th of April lunch time and ordered our fave haddock and chips, it's the best around and reasonably priced, if you want a traditional pub this is the one for you

Came in for drinks and it's a lovely little pub I've frequented many times, great atmosphere and friendly staff you can't ask for much more in this historic pub which is steeped in history
