Firstly to be fair let me say at the outset that Hobbs is an excellent bakery. The bread is tasty and many of the baked goods lovely. But as for the quick lunch we were a little disappointed. For the money, the food was distinctly...More

Number one for coffee and cake in Nailsworth in my opinion. Visited many times always excellent coffee and cakes. Staff always friendly

Not many tables upstairs for larger groups but there is a small outside area to sit. My children were so excited to chose from the bakery and the service was very friendly and efficient.

The best coffee in the area. By far. Baked goods are delicious and remain authentically English. Returning to try the sandwiches. Pretty much everything you'd expect from a 5th generation family bakery that, even with 6 stores, is still owner run and managed.

Popped in with a friend on a Saturday afternoon after mooching round Nailsworth shops - we couldn't make up our minds what to have as it all sounded good but settled on the Margherita pizza with sourdough base, which was delicious - thin and crispy...More

Perfect for a tasty and healthy lunch which justifies buying some cakes from their bakery on the way out.

Double expresso for Pds 2.20 which was cold, tasted of sludge, and sat in the bottom of the cup. Granddaughter had some food but our coffee was so bad, I can't remember what she had.

Hi there, I am so sorry you had a bad experience in our cafe in Nailsworth that is not the standard we hope to deliver. Please accept our apologies and thank you for the feedback, Anna

I love this neighbourhood bakery. Downstairs the open kitchen displays delicious and tempting treats for the hungry shopper. Upstairs you can eat the great pastries and pies from downstairs and have a cuppa at the same time. Good for coffee/tea and a light lunch

Best bakery I’ve ever been to, high quality bread, cakes and snacks, no need to go anywhere else if you love nearby

This is a thriving bakery with cafe above. Friendly and informed assistants are a joy to deal with. We bought sandwiches, flapjacks and coffee for a picnic and everything was delicious. Been here before and will definitely be back. All round super experience.

Our Bistro menu celebrates British food and produce of the South West, making best use of Hobbs House Bakery's handmade bread and wood fired oven. We have a focus on the carefully sourced; everything is bought directly from the producers and cooked with real care and imagination. We put a a strong focus on the traditional cuts of meat from our butchery alongside fish that may have fallen from favour, but lack nothing in flavour. We serve great teas and coffee from local roasters Extract. This is all complemented by a selection of local ales and ciders as well as our comprehensive wine list, put together by Nailsworth-based Raffles Wine. "Hobbs House has become one of the jewels in Nailsworth's crown", Gloucestershire Echo
