Now, I could rattle on about the top quality friendly service, the fun people who serve fabulous food with style and panache. But I won't waste time, this place is brilliant, go, enjoy, it's worth it 😃

Visited this unusual setting for a restaurant (fishmonger, and deli at front, restaurant at rear). David & I both had the Dover sole, Lindsey had the fish stew and Anne had Cod & chips. all 4 meals we voted best lunch we have had. I am a big fish eater and can honestly say my Sole is best I have... More

This place used to be a local secret for years. Hidden away behind their wonderful deli. right in the centre of Nailsworth. We have been going there every couple of weeks for years. It's without question our favorite treat to ourselves because it's always been 'the best' but recently it seems to be 'even better'. The fish soup for either... More

This is a terrific place. The service couldn't have been better: so friendly and helpful. The food was astonishingly good. The lobster and crab were so fresh and tasty and huge compared with the lobster/crabs from the North Sea. Implements provided for cracking and probing, good chips and salad to go with. Good wine list, cheerful busy service, absolutely nothing... More

A friend and I called in for lunch a few days ago. It was a beautiful sunny warm day so we sat outside. The service was warm and friendly and we were soon presented with the menus. We chose two courses for £10, very reasonable. I chose the fish and chips and my friend the tart/quiche with salad and new... More

Visited this place for the first time while traveling to Tetbury. Great little deli and bistro for lunch. Great choice of food and inside and outside seating if the weather is good. Service was friendly and quick The deli is also worth spending some time in great produce both local and regional My only disappointment was they had no oysters... More

If the fish they are cooking is the same fish they are selling, you want to try both! We had a fab meal there. It's busy, super friendly with a really nice atmosphere. All the fresh fish for sale had been removed from the fridges but the cheese looked divine and the shelves are stocked with the most unusual selection... More

I really liked this restaurant. You walk through a fish and cheese counter that sell great produce for you to take home. The restaurant is smart but not at all pretentious. It's fairly small so reserve or get their early. We went for lunch and it was a really relaxed feel, good speed of service. If you don't like fish,... More

Have visited many times in the day, always well pleased with our meals. So we decided to visit on a Friday evening. What a lovely atmosphere, always welcoming but the addition of candles and dimmed lighting made for a different experience to lunchtime. As always the food was perfect, house wine very good and service excellent. Well worth the hours... More
