This has got to be the best Thai restaurant in the uk. We have been many times and we are never disappointed. The food is to die for especially the spare ribs and duck spring rolls for starters. The red Thai curry is wonderful with...the jasmine rice. So much choice it's hard to choose. The service from all the staff is second to none and they all just go that extra mile to make your evening memorable. If you like Thai food and hadn't visited this special place you really should as you won't be disappointed. A very big thank you to all the wonderful staff for another great meal.More

Elegant surroundings, attentive service, fresh Thai food full of flavour, it's easy to see why it's won a string of accolades - we shared a hot platter of starters and went on to chicken and beef dishes with shared rice and noodles, everything went down...well and we only had a short stroll back to our temporary home, what's not to like.More

We visited our favorite restaurant the evening before my daughters wedding, we were made to feel very special as always with some lovely little touches of personal service. Food and service as always was top notch, while working within the current restrictions, a great start...to the weekendMore

After using the take out service throughout covid we thought we would go for a meal for my partners birthday. Amazing flavoursome food, excellent service. We were not rushed, lovely relaxed atmosphere. We love eating here and look forward to the next time.

I ate at Thai Up At The Quay for the second time last night, again I was wowed by everything. Having been introduced to the restaurant by my girlfriend recently, I was eager to try it again to see if they kept their high standards...and I was not disappointed. The answerphone message said they were full for eat in and takeaway spots, we left a message asking that if anything became available we would happily come in, an hour later we received a call to say we could dine in at 8:15. The food was superb, just as good as the previous visit, and with the new dishes we tried I may go as far as to say it was better this time. The atmosphere was excellent, everyone seemed to be having a good evening. On my first visit I had dressed in shirt and shoes, this time I wore a t-shirt and trainers and felt just as comfortable and welcome dressed either way. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, they were always on hand if anything was needed even though the restaurant was full. Andy on front of house is a credit to the place and it is a pleasure to chat with him when we’ve been in, I look forward to seeing him and the staff and eating their fantastic food many times in future.More

I cannot reccommend this place enough. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared, awesome quality and fantastically tasty. The service is second to none. The knowledge of dishes and customer service is superb. The staff really know how to look after their customers, led by...the wonderful Andy, this team really puts in the effort so that customer feels special and looked after. A special mention to Pat, who knows what we want to eat before we do. An extra special mention to Pom, who really knows how to make each dish taste truly amazing. This restaurant is a treat for the senses . Thank you all for wonderful meals and brilliant memories.More

I don't think the restaurant has a car park, but there are lots of places to park nearby. Go - you will not be disappointed, just wish we lived nearer!
