Fantastic place at the rear of the Post Office on the high st through a antique/ bric-a-brac style courtyard. A lovely vintage atmosphere and welcome with homemade meals, snacks and drinks. Every time we visit Lyme Regis this is a must to refuel. Doggie friendly 🐾 😍

This cafe offers great friendly service in a quirky retro setting. Tucked away at the back of the old post office. Great food, the specials are reasonably priced tasty and generous. Will definitely be back whenever in Lyme. P.s. saw Marilyn Monroe in living flesh too! Genuinely!

This is a lovely little cafe. It is tastefully decorated and some of the staff dress in vintage clothes. They are extreemly friendly and it had a good atmosphere. We only stopped for a drink but the food looked really good and the specials were homemade. We will definitley return.

We popped into Penny Blacks this afternoon on a drizzly day, but were welcomed with a sunny smile from Sophie. We came on the recommendation of a friend, and they were right to give this cafe a thumbs up! We had cream teas and 2 superb milkshakes, so thick the straws stood up in them! We will be back on... Stopped here for lunch on a day visit to the area. Found the cafe by surprise and wasn't disappointed. They had made the most of a small space and had an outside seating area as well. The staff were very friendly. We just wanted a drink and a snack and we weren't disappointed. Food tasted lovely and there was plenty... More

We stopped off here for a late lunch (3pm) and some cake, sat in the courtyard. A lovely quiet spot tucked away down market street at the side of the post office and through a little antiques arcade (closes at 4pm). The waitress cleared our table from the previous customers but it could have done with a wipe too! I... More

Lovely spot, very tasty food, good service. You can't pay by card but can get cash out at the adjacent post office. Banana milkshake really good!

Tucked away behind the post office and a indoor market , this is a great place to take a break and refreshments. Indoor and outdoor seating, good value.
