It used to be the post office sorting room but now a traditional English tearoom run by the completely affable and totally tasteful Sophie. This young woman has an easy rapport with her loyal and first time customers, standing out from the crowd in her stunning '50's style make up and vintage style. She bakes the toothsome goodies and serves... More

Love this cafe, it's so different to the rest of Lyme and tucked out of the way from the busy Main Street. I love the new style of the place with all the Marilyn Monroe pictures and decorations. The staff are friendly and the food is great quality and not overpriced! Would definitely recommend!

We fell on this delightful tearoom at the back of a post office. We ordered a toasted sandwich each that was brought to our table very quickly and hot, the filling was bursting out the side. This 50's styled café had a warm and welcome atmosphere. Will definitely return when we go back to Lyme Regis.

Visiting Lyme Regis for a day, my husband and I hoped to find somewhere other than the usual offering of coffee chain houses to have a snack and we were delighted to discover this wonderful little place tucked away at the back of the Post Office. It is bright and cheery with little touches of vintage 1950's style including the... More

Great food and coffee in an original themed cafe. Worth a visit and a refreshing change from the branded coffee houses.

Love this little retro cafe which serves the best hot chocolate in the region in my opinion. The owner is always very obliging, when we visited with friends and a dog we sat in the garden and a sudden shower started the staff rushed out to put the sun umbrellas up to shelter us. Nice lunches and tea cakes too.

We visited this establishment whilst on a day trip to Lyme Regis, and called in as it's close to the bus stop. We were very happy with the service and coffee. The proprietor(?) was very friendly and cheerful. it is situated near to the Post Office and there is an interesting antiques shop to browse in. We would recommend Penny... More

A pleasant enough place to eat, especially on a sunny day in the courtyard behind the antique/ nicknack shop. Good basic snack choices - sandwiches, wraps, toasties etc. Had two well prepared toasties with a well made pot of tea. Pleasant staff. You wouldn't go out of your way to find it, but it seemed popular with locals looking for... More

nice people running very small cafe with 5 tables inside. Food only average. Disappointing after the uphill trek on dangerously small pavements for children.
