Visiting Lyme Regis for a day, my husband and I hoped to find somewhere other than the usual offering of coffee chain houses to have a snack and we were delighted to discover this wonderful little place tucked away at the back of the Post Office. It is bright and cheery with little touches of vintage 1950's style including the... More

Great food and coffee in an original themed cafe. Worth a visit and a refreshing change from the branded coffee houses.

Stopped in for drinks, toast and a sandwich. Excellent service, food brought to the table quickly. Very tasty, enjoyed it. The decor is fab! Loved it and will definitely be returning.

Love this little retro cafe which serves the best hot chocolate in the region in my opinion. The owner is always very obliging, when we visited with friends and a dog we sat in the garden and a sudden shower started the staff rushed out to put the sun umbrellas up to shelter us. Nice lunches and tea cakes too.

We visited this establishment whilst on a day trip to Lyme Regis, and called in as it's close to the bus stop. We were very happy with the service and coffee. The proprietor(?) was very friendly and cheerful. it is situated near to the Post Office and there is an interesting antiques shop to browse in. We would recommend Penny... More

A pleasant enough place to eat, especially on a sunny day in the courtyard behind the antique/ nicknack shop. Good basic snack choices - sandwiches, wraps, toasties etc. Had two well prepared toasties with a well made pot of tea. Pleasant staff. You wouldn't go out of your way to find it, but it seemed popular with locals looking for... More

nice people running very small cafe with 5 tables inside. Food only average. Disappointing after the uphill trek on dangerously small pavements for children.

September again! Arts Fest in Lyme Regis, new paintings new frames, This one? That one? Licking up old ones, & then the hanging. The Baptist Church our chosen venue is soon a scene of much humming and, haring a twiddle here a twiddle there, down a bit to the right, no no, up a bit to the left, until at... More

We found this cafe, behind the Post Office, about a month ago. Toasted tea cakes, scones and cream and a huge pot of tea, brilliant. Loved the 50's theme and background music. The lady who served us (probably Penny) was dressed in 50's style fashion, with a Marilyn Monroe tattoo. Would definitely recommend.

Found this quaint little place by accident. Stopped for coffee and cake with the husband and two dogs, who were made very welcome in the little garden area. The cake was superb and the staff really friendly and I loved the vintage feel to the place. Would recommend (and have done!).
