This is the third time I have been to Aroma this year. It is mine and my girlfriends favourite cafe anywhere. We have often driven from our house to go to the cafe, a journey of around 40 minutes. Coffee is always good, I drink black coffee and think this is the best coffee I have had outside Italy. By... More

Whenever we are away on holiday, my husband always researches cafes & restaurants which will cater for my gluten-free diet (I am a coeliac). We visited 'Aroma' when we were in Lyme Regis this week because it met the criteria. We were not disappointed! A wide range of delicious gluten free cakes were available as part of a varied menu.... Fantastic breakfast. Really great fresh food, in a nice very relaxed environment. Family all enjoyed their food, and would definitely go back.

Great little coffee shop/Cafe. We stopped for breakfast and coffees and everything they do is good, home made with attention to detail. If you fancy lunch/breakfast or just want a coffee try this place.

My first coffee that I have really enjoyed since arriving in the UK for a holiday 2 weeks ago. Asked for half strength flat white and got it! Also more than one gluten free option available in the cake section - so unusual

They have a huge variety when it come to drinks and food took me ages to know what I had wanted. The salted caramel cake was probably the best cake I've eaten in years. The service is very good the staff are friendly and kind. I didn't know this place existed until my friend told me. This is now my... More

This is a lovely coffee/cake shop tucked round the corner in lyme regis. All of their cakes are gluten free and some are also dairy free or egg free and some are suitable for vegans. Great choice of drinks and the kids love their milkshakes. They also have a nice little play area for children while you sit and relax... More

Served by a friendly young lad, food came quite quick, lovely breakfast, lots of it and cooked to perfection. Fantastic flat white and earl grey tea, definitely would like to go back to sample the cakes we could not fit in.

This place instantly grabbed our attention as we passed outside in the narrow sloping footpath beside a busy road. It oozes intrigue, looking like a blend of a man cave, sixth form common room and a hog warts canteen. The cakes look and taste fab! The service is excellent. I ordered coffee, Sicilian lemonade a Coke and two slices of... More
