Book well in advance. Excellent range of curries and good alternatives for those who do not enjoy curries. Fantastic quality food and delightful service.

After a day's Fossil Hunting along the Jurassic Coast we were ravenously hungry and given a number of of dietary restrictions in our group, Indian food is always a great option. We arrived exactly at opening time and were quickly shown to a table. The service was great; fast, efficient, welcoming and informative. The food is excellent and covers all... More

We visited Lal Qilla one evening during our family holiday in Lyme. The food is VERY good. Staff friendly and the place has a nice buzz. We too our own wine as they don't have a licence. My lamb bhuna was delicious.

Visited Lyme Regis for the day and between me and my wife decided to visit an Indian restaurant. Had a look on trip advisor and choose Lal Qilla due to good reviews. So without booking, we turned up about 6pm and they fitted us in and gave us a table. One word of advice is that this place is not... More

As locals, we visit the Indian almost once a week! the staff are always delightful without fail and the food is great, not particularly spicy but still deliciously flavoured.

We visit this restaurant every year whilst in Lyme and it never fails to impress us. We had a delicious curry. The service and staff are extremely efficient and we will most definitely continue to frequent this excellent curry house.

Lovely food - we went twice in three days - and friendly service. It is bring your own booze but with Tesco a few doors away that's not a problem. Usually bring your own places have average food but this is a real exception. If you're in Lyme Regis and want a curry this is the place to go!

Been to Lyme many times, never ate here. Wanted a change on Saturday night from the usual seaside fare and this was a good choice. Not the same as the curry houses in Birmingham or Bradford et al, but good quality and pleasant atmosphere. We had a little wait, but it was busy. Not licenced so buy your beers from... More

Family party of 9 ate here last night, all enjoyed the food, lemon rice new taste for me, with fish bhuna with good sauce but could have been spicier. Waiters all very helpful and friendly and quick service.
